Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Nasser Aamer played in 17 games during his first year at Rutgers University-Camden. He also was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for both the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters.
 
Soccer 2016: Appeared in 17 games and took one shot…Made collegiate debut against St. Mary’s in a season-opening 3-3 tie (Sept. 2)…Played in six of the Scarlet Raptors’ seven shutouts during the year, including his next three appearances, coming against Alvernia (1-0, Sept. 7), Farmingdale State (4-0, Sept. 10) and Rutgers-Newark (3-0, Sept. 17)…Took his lone collegiate shot against Farmingdale…Played 20 minutes in the Raptors’ 1-0 shutout against The College of New Jersey (Sept. 28) and his season high of 30 minutes as Rutgers-Camden edged No. 5/12 nationally-ranked Haverford College (Oct. 5)…Helped the Raptors blank Swarthmore in a 0-0 tie (Oct. 19).
 
High School:  Four-year soccer letterman for Coach Chris Hayston at South Brunswick High School…Graduated in 2016.

Personal: Born February 14, 1998…Enjoys going to the beach, playing FIFA and listening to music…Finance major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to become a financial advisor…Nasser is the son of Mostafa and Mina Aamer of Monmouth Junction.
