Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A three-year Scarlet Raptor letterman, Nkosi Punch has played in 23 games over his collegiate career, contributing to nine shutouts.
 
A stellar student as well, he was a member of the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the Fall 2015 semester and has been recognized on that Honor Roll every semester since then (Spring 2016, Fall 2016 and Spring 2017).
 
Soccer 2016: Played in 13 games, starting seven…Took three shots, one on goal…Appeared in five of the Raptors’ seven shutouts, starting three of them…Made his season debut playing 28 minutes in a 4-0 shutout of Farmingdale State (Sept. 10)…Played 44 minutes in the Raptors’ 1-0 double-overtime win at Cabrini University (Sept. 14)…Started and played 52 minutes in a 3-0 shutout over New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 17)…Contributed to a 1-0 shutout against The College of New Jersey (Sept. 28)…Started his last five games of the season, beginning with a 2-1 loss at Rowan University (Oct. 12) and followed by playing all 90 minutes in a 4-2 win over Kean University (Oct. 15)…That stretch also included a 0-0 tie against Swarthmore (Oct. 19).
 
Soccer 2015: Played in five games, including 20 minutes in the team’s season-opening 9-0 shutout over Rosemont College (Sept. 1)…Played his season high of 52 minutes in a 7-1 win over Misericordia University (Sept. 23)…Saw action in a 3-0 loss to Haverford College (Oct. 7), and a 5-1 victory over Ramapo College (Oct. 10)…Played in a 2-1 victory over Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 31) in the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs, the Scarlet Raptors’ first step on the way to their fourth NJAC title in five years.
 
Soccer 2014: Played in five games, including three of the Scarlet Raptors’ eight shutouts…Made collegiate debut with 22 minutes of action during 4-0 win over Susquehanna University (Sept. 7) in the championship game of the Cialella Soccer Classic…Also appeared in 3-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference shutouts over New Jersey City University (Sept. 27) and The College of New Jersey (Oct. 16)…Played 18 minutes in 7-3 loss to Haverford College (Oct. 6)…Helped Rutgers-Camden start off its run to the ECAC Metro/Upstate championship by contributing to a 2-1 win over Sage Colleges (Nov. 12) in the first round of the ECAC tournament.
 
High School: Two-year soccer letterman at John P. Stevens High School for Coach Mac McMullen…All-County Red Division honoree.
