Biography

Parker Solowey earned New Jersey Athletic Conference honors on the soccer pitch and in the classroom during his four years at Rutgers-Camden. He transferred to Rutgers-Camden after playing his first year at NJAC rival William Paterson University.
 
A leader on and off the field, Solowey was a three-time team captain for the Scarlet Raptors.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 scholastic years…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring, 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring, 2021 Fall and 2022 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Soccer 2022: Team tri-captain…Played in seven games, starting six, after missing most of the season recovering from an injury…Took seven shots, three on goal…Collected two goals and one assist for five points…Returned from injuries to make his first appearance in a game at Rowan (Oct. 12)…Started his remaining six games of the season, beginning with a 3-3 tie against Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 15), when he scored his first goal of the season…Notched a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over The College of New Jersey (Oct. 26).
 
Soccer 2021: Team co-captain…Played in 19 games, starting 14…Scored one goal for two points…Took 21 shots, 11 on goal…Played a high of 100 minutes during a 1-1 overtime tie against Cabrini (Sept. 15)…Scored his lone goal during a 7-9 win over Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 5)…Took his high of three shots (two on goal) during a 2-0 loss to Muhlenberg in the ECAC semifinals (Nov. 14)…Played the entire 90 minutes in a 2-0 loss to Stockton (Sept. 29) and a 2-1 loss at The College of New Jersey (Oct. 13).
 
Soccer 2020: Named New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention…Team tri-captain…In a shortened seven-game season, he started all seven Rutgers-Camden games, helping the team reach the NJAC semifinals…Took seven shots, two on goal…Collected an assist on the game-winning goal by Skyler Diggs during a 2-0 win at New Jersey City (March 17), which gave Head Coach Tim Oswald his 200th career victory at Rutgers-Camden…Notched his second assist on a goal by Kaito Kitazawa in the NJAC semifinals at Montclair State (April 10), which tied the game at 1-1 in an eventual 3-1 Raptor defeat…Had two shots apiece (one on goal) in the NJCU game and in a 2-0 regular-season loss to Montclair State (April 1).
 
Soccer 2019: Appeared in 13 games, starting one…Collected one goal for two points…Took nine shots, three on goal, for a .333 percentage…Played in six of the nine shutouts registered by the Scarlet Raptors…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut in a 1-0 season-opening win over Carthage (Aug. 30)…Played 42 minutes and took two shots (one of his three games with two shots) in a 2-0 win over Immaculata (Sept. 18)…Collected his lone goal to help the Raptors defeat Rutgers-Newark, 3-2 (Oct. 12), while playing all 90 minutes and taking two shots...Also collected two shots against The College of New Jersey (Oct. 2).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played in 15 games at William Paterson University in 2018, starting one…Collected one goal and one assist for three points…Took three shots, all on goal...Made his collegiate debut at Plattsburgh (Aug. 31)…Notched his first collegiate goal in a 6-1 win over York (NY) College (Sept. 12)…Made his lone start against Baruch in a 2-0 Paterson win (Oct. 8)…Collected his first collegiate assist in a 2-0 win over Rutgers-Camden in the ECAC Division III quarterfinals (Nov. 11).
