Biography

Patrick Grudnik appeared in 78 games during his four-year career with the men’s soccer program, staring 50 contests. He collected 10 goals and 11 assists for 31 career points, with his 11 assists tying for 25th on the program’s all-time list. An all-conference performer during his junior year, Grudnik collected a game-winning goal during both his junior and senior seasons.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2020 Spring semester.
 
Soccer 2019: Appeared in 18 games, starting 11…Collected two goals and two assists to finish tied for fifth on the team in points (6)…Had one game-winning goal…Took 24 shots, putting 10 on goal for a .417 percentage…Started the team’s season opener and helped the Raptors post a 1-0 shutout over Carthage (Aug. 30)…Notched his first goal of the season during an eventual 5-1 victory over Mount St. Vincent (Aug. 31)…Collected an assist in a 2-0 win over the College of Staten Island (Sept. 7)…Also had an assist in a 3-2 win over Haverford (Sept. 25), while playing 70 minutes…Scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory against conference rival Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 12)…Played his season high of 74 minutes in a 2-2 tie at William Paterson (Oct. 26).
 
Soccer 2018: New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team…Named to the Cialella Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team (Sept. 8-9)…Started all 19 of his games…Led the team with 75 shots…Finished second on the team in goals (5) and points (13) and tied for second in assists (3)…Had one game-winning goal, coming in a 3-1 win over Staten Island (Sept. 8)…Scored the Scarlet Raptors’ first goal of the season at 14:41 of the opener, tying the game at 1-1 and sparking Rutgers-Camden to a 3-2 win over New York University (Aug. 31)…Assisted on Skyler Diggs’ game-winning goal the next day, only 26 seconds into the second half, as the Scarlet Raptors defeated Old Westbury, 2-0 (Sept. 1)…Scored single goals in a 4-0 win at Immaculata (Sept. 20), a 2-0 victory over New Jersey City (Sept. 29) and a 1-1 tie at Ramapo College (Oct. 13)…Assisted on the game-winning goal by Brian Palangi in a 2-1 victory against Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 6)…Also earned an assist on the game-winning goal by Cristian Ognibene in a 1-0 victory at Stockton (Oct. 24).
 
Soccer 2017: Played in 23 games, starting nine…Tied for fifth on the team with 24 shots…Notched one goal and tied for second on the team with four assists…Collected six points…Started his first seven games of the year, including the season opener against Lycoming College (Sept. 1)…Assisted on the game-tying goal by Aaron Muse in a 3-3 deadlock against Frostburg State University (Sept. 9)…Collected an assist during a 5-1 win over Cabrini University (Sept. 13)…Collected two assists during a 7-1 win at Lancaster Bible College (Oct. 19)…His only goal of the season sparked Rutgers-Camden to a 2-1 win over Maritime College (Nov. 11) in the Raptors’ first game of the ECAC Division III Men’s Soccer Championship, sparking the team to a tournament run that ended with a berth in the title game.
 
Soccer 2016: Appeared in 18 games, starting 11…Collected two goals and two assists to tie for fifth on the team with six points…Had 30 shots, 14 on goal for a .467 percentage…Started his first collegiate game and played 80 minutes in a 3-3 season-opening tie against St. Mary’s (3-3)…Notched his first collegiate goal as the Raptors tied Brockport, 1-1 (Sept. 11)…Collected his first career assist in a 4-2 loss against Montclair State in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs (Oct. 29)…Collected one goal and one assist in a 3-1 win over Hunter College in the opening round of the ECAC Division III Men’s Soccer Championships (Nov. 12).
