Biography

Ramadan Bayyan has appeared in 20 games at Rutgers-Camden after transferring to the school following his freshman season at Salisbury University. He returns for his senior season of collegiate eligibility this fall.
 
Soccer 2014: Played in 15 games, starting nine…Took three shots, all of them on goal…Made season debut in a 2-1 win over Drew University (Sept. 6) and played the next day in a 4-0 victory over Susquehanna University as the Scarlet Raptors won the Cialella Soccer Classic…Made first start of the season in a 2-0 win over Swarthmore College (Oct. 22) and started all eight of his remaining games…Played the entire 110 minutes of a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Stockton (Oct. 29)...Overall, played in seven of the Raptors’ eight shutouts, starting the last three…Started all three games in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs (Nov. 1-7) as the Raptors reached the NJAC championship game for the fourth straight season…Started all three games in the ECAC Division III Metro/Upstate Men’s Soccer Championship (Nov. 12-16) as Rutgers-Camden captured the ECAC title…Played all 90 minutes in the ECAC title game, a 2-1 win over Stockton (Nov. 16).
 
Soccer 2013: Appeared in five early-season games in his first year at Rutgers-Camden…Collected one goal for two points…Scored the final goal of the Scarlet Raptors’ 5-0 victory over Eastern University (Sept. 11).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Played in 18 games at Salisbury University during his freshman season, taking 11 shots and scoring one goal…Made his collegiate debut in a 6-0 win over Penn State-Altoona (Aug. 31), taking one shot…Had a season-high three shots in a 5-0 win at Centenary College (Sept. 8), scoring his first collegiate goal to give the Sea Gulls a 3-0 lead in the game…Contributed to eight shutouts by the Sea Gulls…Academic All-Conference.
 
High School: Three-year soccer letterman at Cherry Hill High School West who served two years as a team captain for Coach Dan Butler…During his senior season in 2011, named All-South Jersey First Team by the Courier-Post and Philadelphia Inquirer newspapers…Added All-Group 4 First Team from the Courier-Post…Olympic Conference Patriot Division First Team…Second Team All-State…As a junior captured All-Group 3 First Team and All-South Jersey Second Team honors from the Courier-Post… Olympic Conference Patriot Division First Team…South Sectional All-State Second Team from the Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey…All-State Honorable Mention…Made the Olympic Conference Patriot Division Second Team as a sophomore in 2009…Honor Roll as a senior.
