Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Rohan Castillo has earned two soccer letters with the Scarlet Raptors, appearing in 39 of the team’s 40 games over his young career. He has produced four goals and six assists for 14 points, while adding numerous honors in the classroom.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2024-25 scholastic year…Dean’s List student and a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring, 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…One of only 41 students on the 180-member 2025 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA.
 
Soccer 2024: Played in 20 of the Raptors’ 21 games, starting six…Took nine shots, four on goal…Tied for the team lead with two goals…Tied for third on the team with four points…Contributed to eight of the team’s nine shutouts…After providing a spark off the bench in his first 10 games, made his first start in a 0-0 tie against Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 2)…Scored the game-tying goal at 85:14 in a 1-1 deadlock with Rowan (Oct. 5)…Started his last five games of the season, beginning with a 2-1 win against William Paterson when he scored the Scarlet Raptors’ first goal and took his season high of two shots…Started both Raptor games in the New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs, including a 1-0 win over Rutgers-Newark (Nov. 2) and a 1-0 semifinal loss at Rowan (Nov. 5).
 
Soccer 2023: Played in all 19 Rutgers-Camden games, starting seven…Collected two goals and two assists to tie for third in scoring with six points…Had one game-winning goal on his first collegiate tally in a 2-0 win over William Paterson (Sept. 22)…Took 18 shots, with eight on goal for the season… Made his first collegiate start in the season opener against Arcadia (Sept. 1)…Notched his first collegiate point with an assist against Eastern (Sept. 2), feeding Miguel Graterol for the insurance goal…Assisted on the game-winning goal by Allen Jarrin in a 1-0 victory over New Jersey City (Sept. 30)…Scored the lone Raptor goal in a 2-1 loss against Stockton (Oct. 18), while taking his season high of four shots (three on goal).
 
High School: Four-year soccer letterman for Coach Anthony Perfilio at South Plainfield High School…Central Group 3 First Team All-State…All-Conference…All-Division…High Honor Roll AP student…Graduated in 2023.
