Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A junior academically with sophomore eligibility in soccer, Stephen Kain made his Rutgers-Camden debut last season, appearing in five games. He returns for his second season with the Scarlet Raptors this fall.

Soccer 2018: Appeared in five games…Took one shot…Made his collegiate debut against Staten Island (Sept. 8), playing his season high of 14 minutes, a mark he tied in a 2-1 win over Lancaster Bible (Oct. 10)…Took his lone shot against William Paterson (Oct. 20).
 
High School:  Captured 10 varsity letters at Gloucester City High School, including four apiece in soccer and swimming…Also earned a pair of baseball letters…Played soccer for Coach Joe Meehan…All-Conference Second Team swimmer during junior and senior years in the 200 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay…Graduated in 2017.

Personal: Born June 15, 1999…Nicknamed “Wave”…Hobbies and interests include playing soccer…Finance major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to work in the finance industry…Stephen is the son of Paul Kain and Maggie Gorman-Kain of Gloucester City.
