Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Youssef Montasser had a stellar rookie season for the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team, leading the Scarlet Raptors with six points and two assists, while tying for the team lead with two goals. He captured a weekly conference award and added academic honors.

Soccer 2024: Played in 17 games, starting seven…Led the club with six points and two assists…Tied for the team lead with two goals, one of them a game winner…Played in seven of the Raptors’ nine shutouts, starting the last three…Appeared in all three of the Raptors’ season-opening 1-0 wins against Neumann (Aug. 30), Haverford (Aug. 31) and Penn State-Abington (Sept. 4)…Collected his first collegiate points with a goal at Rosemont (Sept. 18) as the Scarlet Raptors played to a 1-1 tie with the Ravens…Had two assists in a 4-1 win over Lebanon Valley (Sept. 21), including the assist on Brandon Valeri’s game-winning goal, as the Raptors posted the 500th victory in program history… His performances against Lebanon Valley helped him earn honors as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week on Sept. 23…Made his first start and scored the game-winning goal at 51:51 as the Raptors posted a 1-0 victory over The College of New Jersey (Oct. 16)…The TCNJ game was the first of his seven consecutive starts to close the season…Had his highs of four shots and three shots on goal in a 1-0 win at New Jersey City (Oct. 19).
 
High School: Played soccer for former Rutgers-New Brunswick Head Coach Bob Reasso at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina…Graduated in 2024.
