Biography
Zach Fox completed his outstanding four-year Scarlet Raptor soccer career as one of the program’s all-time career leaders in games played. He appeared in 88 games, the seventh-highest total in Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer history, while starting 82 of them. He earned all-conference honors both on the soccer pitch and in the classroom during his senior season. A Dean’s List student, Fox captured seven berths on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during his collegiate career.

A stellar defensive midfielder, Fox finished his career with one goal and two assists for four points.

Soccer 2019: Started all of his 20 games…Took five shots, all on goal, for a 1.000 percentage…Earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention and NJAC Academic Honorable Mention…Contributed to a Raptor defense that posted a 1.05 goals-against average and nine shutouts…Played a complete game in 12 of the Raptors’ games, including the full 110 minutes in overtime games against Kean (Sept. 28) and William Paterson (Oct. 26)…Took his season high of two shots during a 5-1 victory over Mount St. Vincent (Aug. 31).

Soccer 2018: Started all 22 Rutgers-Camden games…Notched two assists…Took 12 shots…Served as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ four captains…Notched his first assist in a 3-1 win over Staten Island (Sept. 8)…Collected his second assist in a 3-1 win over William Paterson (Oct. 20)…Played the entire game, 90 or more minutes, in 12 contests, including all 110 minutes in a pair of 1-1 ties against Alvernia (Sept. 5) and Ramapo (Oct. 13).

Soccer 2017: Started all 24 Rutgers-Camden games, tying for seventh on the program’s single-season list for starts…Notched one goal for two points…Took four shots, two on goal…Earned a berth on the Cialella Soccer Classic All-Tournament Team (Sept. 9-10)…His first career goal, coming at 60:45, helped Rutgers-Camden rally to tie William Paterson University, 1-1, on Oct. 21…Played the full 110 minutes in the Paterson game, as well as in overtime deadlocks against Frostburg State (Sept. 9), The College of New Jersey (Sept. 27) and Haverford College (Oct. 4)…Played 96 and 93 minutes, respectively, in 2-1 overtime losses against Stockton University (Oct. 25) and Kean University (Oct. 14)…Also played the full regulation 90 minutes on six occasions.

Soccer 2016: Played in all 22 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 16…Took three shots, one on goal…Started five of the Raptors’ seven shutouts…Made his collegiate debut in the season opener, playing 89 minutes in the Raptors’ 3-3 double-overtime tie against St. Mary’s (Sept. 2)…Made his first start in a 1-0 shutout over Alvernia (Sept. 7)…Contributed to a 4-0 shutout over Farmingdale State (Sept. 10) and made his second career start in a 1-0 double-overtime win at Cabrini (Sept. 14)…Helped Rutgers-Camden blank New Jersey Athletic Conference rival Rutgers-Newark, 3-0 (Oct. 17)…Also started shutouts against The College of New Jersey (1-0, Sept. 28), No. 5/12-ranked Haverford (1-0, Oct. 5) and Swarthmore (0-0, Oct. 19)…Took all three of his shots during a 4-2 win over Kean (Oct. 15).
