Biography
Alyssa Peacock has earned two letters with the Rutgers-Camden women’s tennis program, while also serving with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and capturing numerous academic honors.
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2024-25 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall semesters.
Tennis Spring 2025: Appeared in one match during the spring semester, going 1-0 at sixth singles…Defeated her opponent from Bryn Athyn (Apr. 21) by a 6-1, 6-3 score.
Tennis Fall 2024: Posted a 0-2 record in singles (0-1 at fourth singles and 0-1 at sixth singles)…Made her first appearance of the fall semester at Wilkes (Oct. 5), losing a 0-6, 2-6 match at fourth singles…Dropped a 2-6, 3-6 decision at sixth singles at York (Oct. 12).
Tennis Spring 2024: Posted a 2-11 mark in singles (1-4 at fifth singles and 1-7 at fourth singles)…Went 4-11 in doubles (3-8 at second doubles and 1-3 at third doubles), teaming with Nicoletta Troilo in all but two matches…Posted a 6-0, 6-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at fourth singles against William Paterson (April 17) and also earned an 8-2 singles win at the fifth spot against Bryn Athyn (April 1)…Dropped a close 3-6, 6-3, 4-10 fifth singles match at Cedar Crest (March 29)… Posted an 8-4 win at second doubles against Cedar Crest (March 29), an 8-5 win at Bryn Athyn (April 1) and an 8-7 (7-5) win at Neumann (April 12), teaming with Troilo in all three matches…Earned an 8-5 win at third doubles against William Paterson (April 17) with Jackie Zuniga Arevalo…Dropped an 8-6 match at second doubles with Zuniga Arevalo at Kean (April 5).
Tennis Fall 2023: Made her collegiate tennis debut at Penn State Brandywine (Sept. 17), posting a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles and an 8-1 victory at third doubles with Nicoletta Troilo…Dropped a match at fourth singles (0-6, 1-6) and at third doubles (0-8) with Troilo at Bryn Mawr (Sept. 22)…Playing in the B flight doubles competition with Troilo at the Goucher Invitational (Oct. 8), lost to Stockton (0-4, 1-4), Stevenson (2-4, 0-4) and Lebanon Valley (1-4, 1-4).
High School: Varsity tennis letterwinner at a senior at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology…Graduated in 2023.
Personal: Born May 5, 2005…Nicknamed “Peacock”…Hobbies and interests include playing the guitar, playing tennis, hanging out with friends, playing with her three dogs, and getting out in nature…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)…Art Therapy major at Rutgers-Camden…Alyssa is the daughter of Jennifer and Bryan Peacock of Williamstown.
