Rutgers-Camden Athletics

One of the top newcomers in the New Jersey Athletic Conference during the 2023 season, Matt Conger earned all-conference honors as well as a weekly rookie award from the NJAC. He started all 19 games for the Scarlet Raptors.
 
Soccer 2023: Captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention…Named NJAC Rookie of the Week on Oct. 2…Started all 19 Rutgers-Camden games…Collected one goal and one assist for three points…His goal was the game winner in a 1-0 victory over conference rival Ramapo (Sept. 27)…Took a team-leading 37 shots, with a team-high 15 on goal…Had a high of seven shots in a 2-1 loss at The College of New Jersey (Oct. 25) and also collected five shots in both the Ramapo game and during a 1-1 tie against Wilkes (Sept. 16)…Collected his first collegiate point with an assist on Miguel Graterol’s goal during a 5-4 win at Immaculata (Sept. 18)…Helped Rutgers-Camden post eight shutouts.
