Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A graduate student in the Rutgers-Camden Law School, Michael Campbell earned All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honors in his first season with the Scarlet Raptors in 2022. He previously was a member of the Drexel University soccer program.
 
Soccer 2022: New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team…Played in all 22 games, starting 17…Tied for the team lead in assists (3) and points (7)…Scored two goals, including one game winner…Took 15 shots, seven on goal…Made his first Raptor start in a season-opening 2-0 loss at Arcadia (Sept. 1)…Took his first two shots in a 0-0 tie against Stevenson (Sept. 11)…Notched his first Raptor point with an assist against Immaculata (Sept. 21) and added two more assists in the next game during a 4-3 win over William Paterson (Sept. 24)…Scored the lone goal at 81:10 to beat New Jersey City, 1-0 (Oct. 1)…Notched his second goal of the season in a 3-0 win over The College of New Jersey (Oct. 26).
 
A graduate student who is attending law school at Rutgers-Camden, Michael Campbell joins the Rutgers-Camden soccer program this season.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Member of the Drexel University soccer program in 2018 and 2019…Didn’t see game action as a freshman but appeared in three games during his sophomore season…Scored one goal on one shot, coming in his collegiate debut Sept. 28, 2019 at James Madison University, accounting for the lone Drexel goal in a 3-1 loss…Also played at St. Joseph’s (Oct. 15) and against Penn (Oct. 22).
 
High School:  Soccer letterman at The Hun School of Princeton…All-MAPL Honorable Mention 2017-18…Graduated in 2018.
