Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A two-year letterwinner at Rutgers-Camden after transferring from Arcadia University, Carleigh Galasso has started 40 of her 41 games for the Scarlet Raptors. She has averaged 5.5 points and 5.3 rebounds during her Rutgers-Camden career, while collecting 32 blocked shots, 32 steals and 28 assists.
 
Galasso also has captured academic honors during her career at both Arcadia and Rutgers-Camden.

Basketball 2022-23: Started all 21 of her Rutgers-Camden games before her season ended prematurely with an injury…Averaged 5.0 points and 5.8 rebounds…Led the team with 22 blocked shots…Added 15 assists and 12 steals…Tied her career high with 12 rebounds against Bryn Athyn (Nov. 19)…Added 10 rebounds, all off the defensive glass, in her next game against The College of New Jersey (Nov. 22)…Also had nine-rebound games during the season against both Montclair State (Dec. 3), when she tied her career high of 12 points, and against William Paterson (Jan. 14)…Notched her career high of three assists in back-to-back games against New Jersey City (Jan. 11) and William Paterson (Jan. 14)…Set a career high with three blocked shots against Montclair State (Jan. 21) and tied it two games later with three blocks against Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 28)…Had two or more blocks in seven games.
 
Basketball 2021-22: Played in all 20 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 19…Finished fifth on the team in scoring (6.0 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (4.9 rpg)…Second on the Raptors with 10 blocked shots…Added 20 steals (fifth on the team) and 13 assists…Shot 45-for-145 (.310) from the floor, including 8-for-32 (.250) from three-point range…Shot 22-for-33 (.667) from the foul line…Made her Scarlet Raptor debut starting the season opener against Penn State-Lehigh Valley (Nov. 7), scoring six points, adding four rebounds and collecting two steals…Scored seven points against Alvernia (Nov. 15)…Notched 11 points (shooting 5-for-10 from the floor, including 1-for-2 from three-point range) while adding four rebounds, one assist and one steal against Gallaudet (Nov. 27)…Shot 5-for-8 from the floor and 2-for-2 from the line n route to her career-high 12 points against The College of New Jersey (Dec. 1), while adding seven rebounds…Had 10 rebounds against New Jersey City (Dec. 4)…Collected five points, nine rebounds and four steals at Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 11)…Collected her high of four steals in the second meeting against Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 31)…Had a high of 12 rebounds, while adding eight points, two assists and one steal against William Paterson (Feb. 9)…Had highs of two blocked shots against both The College of New Jersey (Jan. 26) and Ramapo (Feb. 16).
