Chris Hill joins the Rutgers University-Camden women’s basketball coaching staff for the 2021-22 season.
Hill has played and coached basketball in South Jersey for years. A guard at Gloucester Catholic High School and Rowan University, she helped her scholastic team earn a conference championship in 1990. Two years later, she helped the Profs capture the New Jersey Athletic Conference championship.
Hill coached the Moorestown High School girls’ basketball team from 2008-2021, helping the Quakers advance to the South Jersey final for the first time in their history. In addition to her scholastic coaching, she has been the Director/Owner of the Moorestown Basketball Academy, LLC since 2009 and has coached a basketball camp for girls ages 7-14.
A teacher in the Moorestown Township Public School system for the past 16 years, Hill graduated from Rowan in 1994 with a BA in Psychology. She earned her Master’s in Elementary and Special Education from LaSalle University in 2005.
Hill resides in North Wildwood, New Jersey.
