One of the all-time great players in Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball history, Fatimah Williams closed her four-year career with a stellar season that saw her join the 1,000-point club, earn all-conference and all-ECAC honors and rank among the program’s all-time leaders in a host of career records.
Williams finished her career with 1,240 points, tied for sixth on the Rutgers-Camden career chart. She also was seventh in points per game (16.5). The sharp-shooting guard finished fourth in career field goal percentage (44.5) for all players with the NCAA minimum of 400 or more field goals. She was third in free throw percentage (69.5) for all Rutgers-Camden players with the NCAA minimum of 250 career free throws.
Williams also placed among the program’s career leaders with 470 field goals (eighth), 1,057 field goal attempts (ninth), 175 assists (11th), 168 three-point field goal attempts (11th) and 48 three-point field goals (tied for 11th). She finished 17th on the all-time list with 138 steals.
During her career, Williams started 70 of her 75 games at Rutgers-Camden, including all 51 over her final two seasons.

Basketball 2019-2020: New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team…ECAC Div. III First Team…NJAC Player of the Week (Nov. 18)…Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week (Nov. 18)…Scored 508 points for a 20.3 average, both figures 10th among the program’s single-season records…Her 20.3 overall scoring average and her 19.3 average in NJAC games were both the top marks in the conference…Started all 25 Rutgers-Camden games while leading the team in scoring and steals (68) and finishing second in assists (67) and rebounding (6.6 per game)…Scored in double figures during 22 of her 25 games, notched 20 or more points on 14 occasions and three times scored over 30 points…Collected a career-high 43 points, shooting 18-for-30 from the floor, at Kean University (Feb. 1) for the fourth-highest single-game total in program history…Added four assists and nine rebounds in that Kean game, barely missing a double-double…Overall, notched four double-doubles on the season and was one rebound shy of collecting five more double-doubles…A force from the season’s opening tap, Williams scored 27 points and added four steals in the Raptors’ opener at Penn State-Schuylkill (Nov. 12), beginning a run of seven straight double-figure games to open the season, averaging 22.3 points over that span…Her high-water mark in that stretch was a 32-point game at Cairn (Nov. 16), which included a torrid 14-for-18 shooting night from the floor…Had her first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Arcadia (Nov. 23)…Added another double-double in a history-making performance at the University of Valley Forge (Jan. 13), collecting a career-high 13 rebounds and 18 points, including the 1,000th of her career to become only the 14th player in program history to reach that milestone…Two games later, at New Jersey City University (Jan. 18), tied her career rebounding high of 13 and added 23 points for another double-double…Her final double-double came with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the Raptors’ second meeting of the season with New Jersey City (Feb. 15)…Had four or more assists on eight occasions, including six in the second New Jersey City game, which was one shy of her career high…Set a career high of six steals, while adding 23 points, against William Paterson (Jan. 25)…For the season, produced seven games with four or more steals and added seven contests with three steals apiece…Tied her career high of two blocked shots in her final career game, while scoring 34 points and adding nine rebounds against Montclair State (Feb. 19).
Basketball 2018-2019: Started all 26 Rutgers-Camden games, leading the team in scoring (17.8 points per game)…Finished third on the team in rebounding (5.7 rpg) and assists (58) and fifth in steals (33)…Shot 176-for-369 (.477) from the floor and 97-for-138 (.703) from the foul line…Earned NJAC Second Team honors…Named the Scarlet Raptors’ Most Dedicated Player…Named NJAC Player of the Week on Jan. 14 and Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on both Nov. 26 and Jan. 14…Scored in double figures on 22 occasions, including 13 games with 20 or more points…Had a career-high of 29 points against Penn State-Abington (Jan. 7), including 11-for-22 shooting from the floor…Added 28 points against Rowan University (Nov. 20) and 26 against Kean University (Dec. 8)…Notched 24-point games against both Arcadia University (Jan. 2) and New Jersey City University (Jan. 12)…Had career highs of 10 rebounds in three games, coming against William Paterson University (Dec. 1), Stockton University (Jan. 23) and The College of New Jersey (Jan. 30) to collect double-doubles in each game…Dished off a career-high seven assists against Ramapo College (Feb. 6)…Notched her fourth career game with four steals, tying her high, against Penn State-Schuylkill (Nov. 13)…Tied her career high, set in 2017, with two blocks against Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 5).
Basketball 2017-18: Played in 11 games, starting 10…Shot 54-for-114 (.474) from the floor, including 4-for-10 (.400) from three-point range…Shot 23-for-37 (.622) from the foul line…Notched 50 rebounds for a 4.5 average…Added 27 assists, 20 steals and three blocks…Opened her season with back-to-back 19-point games against Wilkes University (Nov. 15) and Pitt-Bradford (Nov. 17), one shy of her career scoring high which came against Pitt-Bradford during her freshman year…In the Wilkes game, collected eight rebounds and then added nine boards for her career high in the Pitt-Bradford contest…Shot 6-for-11 from the field on her way to 14 points at Gallaudet University (Nov. 26)…Scored 15 points at Rowan University (Nov. 29)…Had five assists, four steals and 14 points against Neumann University (Dec. 4), with the steals tying her career high…Had another four-steal game against Stockton University (Dec. 6), while scoring 18 points, dishing off four assists and setting a career high with two blocked shots…Notched her seventh double-digit scoring game of the season, netting 13 points against Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 9)…In her final game of the season, Dec. 12 against Arcadia University, set a career high with six assists.
Basketball 2016-17: Played in 13 games, starting nine…Finished fourth on the team in scoring with a 10.4 average…Averaged 3.5 rebounds per game…Collected 23 assists, 17 steals and two blocked shots…Shot 38-for-49 (.776) from the foul line…Exploded on the collegiate scene in her first game, scoring 20 points (6-for-12 from the floor, 8-for-9 from the foul line) in the Raptors’ season-opening win over Pitt-Bradford (Nov. 18) at Frostburg State University’s Jim Crawley Tournament…The next day against Frostburg State, helped the Scarlet Raptors win the tournament title with 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, one blocked shot and a career-high four assists…The two-game performance earned her a berth on the Jim Crawley All-Tournament Team…Scored in double figures in eight of her 13 games, including 17 points against Stockton University (Dec. 7), when she set a career high with seven rebounds…Also had 15 points against John Jay College (Nov. 26)…Tied her career high in assists with four against The College of New Jersey (Nov. 22)…Had two or more assists in seven of her 13 games and two or more steals on five occasions…Grabbed three or more rebounds 11 times…Made 11 consecutive foul shots from Nov. 19-Dec. 3, hitting the last two of a 6-for-9 performance against Frostburg State (Nov. 19), going 2-for-2 against TCNJ (Nov. 22), 3-for-3 against John Jay (Nov. 26) and 2-for-2 against both Rowan (Nov. 30) and New Jersey City (Dec. 3).
High School: Three-year varsity basketball letterwinner at Timber Creek High School for Coach Donna Clark…Earned All-Conference First Team honors as a senior…Graduated in 2016.
