Named the team’s Most Dedicated Player during her freshman season, Julia Gober returns to the Scarlet Raptors for the 2014-15 campaign.
Basketball 2013-14: Played in 17 games, averaging 0.6 points and 0.5 rebounds…Added five steals and one assist…Earned the Samuel Strauss Memorial Award as the Raptors’ Most Dedicated Player…Made her collegiate debut against Elizabethtown College (Nov. 16), playing four minutes and grabbing one rebound…Notched her first steal against The College of New Jersey (Dec. 7)…Collected a career-high three rebounds against the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Dec. 20)…Scored her first career field goal, added one assist and one steal against Richard Stockton College (Jan. 8)…Tied her career high of two points against Rutgers-Newark (Jan. 22), Montclair State University (Feb. 1), Kean University (Feb. 8) and William Paterson University (Feb. 15)…In that Montclair State game played a career-high nine minutes and also added one rebound, one steal and her first career assist.
High School: Multi-sport athlete who earned four varsity letters at Washington Township High School, playing field hockey, track and basketball…Voted All South Jersey Field Hockey Club Unsung Hero during the 2011-2012 scholastic year…Voted Most Improved Player in 2011…Honor Roll student.
