Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Keion Elliott made his collegiate debut as a key member of the Rutgers University-Camden basketball team during the 2023-24 season and competed with the outdoor track program during the spring  semester.
 
Outdoor Track 2024: Joined the outdoor track program and competed in the high jump at four meets, beginning with the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival (April 5), when he placed seventh of 10 with a jump of 1.75 meters…Finished 10th of 23 at the TCNJ Invitational (April 13) with a high jump of 1.79 meters…Set a PR of 1.87 meters while finishing 10th of 15 in the high jump at the Paul Donahue Invitational (April 20)…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 5), placed sixth of 14 with a high jump of 1.84 meters.
 
Basketball 2023-24: Played in 19 games, averaging 2.7 points and 0.7 rebounds…Collected 29 assists, 16 steals and six blocked shots…Shot .463 (19-for-41) from the floor, including 8-for-25 (.320) from three-point range…Shot 6-for-10 (.600) from the foul line…Named New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week and Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on Dec. 18…Made his debut in the season opener against Hunter College (Nov. 8), scoring seven points and collecting his season high of three steals in 18 minutes of playing time…Set his high of three blocked shots at Rutgers-Newark (Dec. 9), while adding five points, two steals, one assist and one turnover…Had a career-high 13 points against Kean (Dec. 13), shooting 4-for-5 from the floor (2-for-3 from three-point range) and 3-for-4 from the foul line…Added three rebounds, three assists and one steal in that game…Set his highs of four rebounds and four assists at Ramapo (Feb. 3), while adding two points and one block…Tied his assist high with four at Kean (Feb. 7).
 
High School: Three-year varsity basketball letterman at Egg Harbor Township High School for Coach Cameron Bell…Also earned one letter with the track and field program…Graduated in 2023.
 
Personal: Born October 5, 2004…Nicknamed “Key”…Hobbies include watching movies…Computer Science major at Rutgers-Camden who wants to be a software engineer or work in cyber security…Keion is the son of Iris Smith and Wayne Elliott of Lindenwold.
