Biography
A member of the Rutgers-Camden lacrosse team as a freshman, Keyani Savage joined the women’s basketball program during the 2022-23 season, playing in five games.
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2022 Fall semester.
Basketball 2022-23: Appeared in five games…Averaged 0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds…Added one steal…Shot 1-for-7 from the floor and 1-for-2 from the foul line…Collected four rebounds, with three of them off the defensive boards…Made her debut against Drew University (Nov. 9), collecting one rebound in four minutes…Had a career-high three rebounds against Neumann (Nov. 15)…Notched a season-high eight minutes and shot 1-for-2 from the floor to score two points against The College of New Jersey (Nov. 22)…Played seven minutes and shot 1-for-2 from the foul line against Alvernia (Nov. 28), while adding one steal.
Lacrosse 2022: Appeared in nine games…Collected two caused turnovers…Made her collegiate debut in the Raptors’ 13-12 season-opening win over Eastern University (March 2)…Collected her first caused turnover against Bryn Mawr (March 7)…Also had one caused turnover against Immaculata (March 22).
High School: Earned three varsity basketball letters at Atlantic City High School for Coach Jason Lantz…Cheerleader…Graduated in 2021.
