A transfer who has played at the University of Hartford and at Crowder College, Lanae Johnson-Kleinpeter joins the Rutgers-Camden women’s basketball program this season.
Pre-Rutgers: Played her first two seasons at Crowder College (Neosho, Missouri) in 2020-21 and 2021-22…Led the team in assists both seasons, with 69 as a freshman and 56 as a sophomore…Averaged 3.9 pints and 1.7 rebounds during her freshman year and 5.2 points and 1.8 rebounds as a sophomore…During the 2022-23 season at the University of Hartford, played in 27 games, starting seven…Averaged 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds, while adding 28 assists and 18 steals…Had highs of eight points and eight rebounds against Chicago State (Feb. 26) and five assists against Villa Maria (Feb. 12)…Dean’s List at Crowder from 2020-2022…Academic All-American for two years.
