Sarah Sowah was just beginning to show her tremendous potential when her rookie season ended prematurely with an injury. Academically, Sowah earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during her first two collegiate semesters.

Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall and 2020 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student…One of 47 athletes on the 171-member 2020 Spring AD Honor Roll to record a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Basketball 2019-20: Played in nine games, averaging 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 points…Added four assists, two steals and one block…Shot 2-for-2 from the foul line (1.000)…Made her collegiate debut in the season opener at Penn State-Schuylkill (Nov. 12), collecting three rebounds and the first of her five contests with two points…Also added her high of two points against Cairn (Nov. 16), Arcadia (Nov. 23), Rowan (Nov. 26) and Gallaudet (Dec. 1)…Played her season high of 23 minutes and notched her high of eight rebounds in the Cairn game…Against Arcadia, collected five boards and her high of two assists…Had her lone blocked shot in the Rowan game, while adding one assist and two rebounds…Notched five boards and her first collegiate steal against Stockton (Dec. 4)…Also had one steal and one rebound in her final game against Kean (Dec. 14) before missing the rest of the season with an injury.
