Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A junior academically with sophomore athletic eligibility, Maliyah Dankel joined the Rutgers-Camden lacrosse program during the 2021 season and started all three of her games.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2021 Spring semester.
 
Lacrosse 2021: Played and started in three games during the Scarlet Raptors’ pandemic-shortened five-game season…Made her collegiate debut starting in the season opener against Kean (April 3)…Also started games against The College of New Jersey (April 17) and Stockton (April 24).
 
High School: Multiple-sport letterwinner at Collingswood High School, playing soccer and softball…Graduated in 2018.
 
Personal: Born January 31, 2000…Nicknamed “Milly”…First name pronounced “muh-LEE-uh”…Hobbies include working out, running and going to the beach on her free time…Graphic Design major at Rutgers-Camden who plans on making her own designs and starting her own business…Maliyah is the daughter of Gerald and Melinda Dankel of Woodlynne.
