Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Meghan Giordano returns to the Scarlet Raptors this season after starting 15 of the team’s 16 games as a freshman. In addition to her play on the field, she was named to the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2017 season. She added another AD Honor Roll berth during the Fall 2017 semester.
 
Lacrosse 2017:  Started all of her 15 games as a freshman midfielder…Collected one goal…Had five shots, four on goal for an .800 shots on goal percentage…Collected 18 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and two draw controls…Made her collegiate debut against Rosemont College (March 2), notching two ground balls, two caused turnovers and one shot…Collected her first collegiate goal on her second career shot – and  first shot on goal – against DeSales University (March 11)…Had her high of three ground balls against both Penn State-Abington (March 26) and Kean University (April 8).
 
High School: Three-year lacrosse letterwinner at Camden Catholic High School for Coach Bridget Bigley Sipera…Earned All-Conference First Team honors as a sophomore…National Honor Society…Graduated in 2016.
 
Personal: Born August 20, 1998…Nicknamed “Meg”…Enjoys watching TV and movies…Psychology major who plans to attend graduate school for speech pathology…As a freshman, Meghan played on the Raptors with her sister Elizabeth, who was a two-year Rutgers-Camden letterwinner…Meghan is the daughter of Stephen and Margaret Giordano of Pennsauken.
