A transfer from Immaculata University, Rachel Fanrak joins the Scarlet Raptors’ lacrosse team this spring. She already has earned two varsity letters with the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program. Fanrak lettered in both soccer and lacrosse at Immaculata during the 2014-15 scholastic year.

In 48 career soccer games between Immaculata and Rutgers-Camden, Fanrak has made 27 starts and collected one goal and three assists for five points.

Soccer 2016: Played in 15 of the Scarlet Raptors’ 16 games…Took one shot and scored her first career goal, coming against Alvernia University Sept. 7…Her goal, at 66:40, gave the Raptors a 2-1 lead in an eventual 3-2 win…Contributed to all three Scarlet Raptor shutouts, including a season high of 81 minutes in a 0-0 double-overtime draw against Moravian College (Sept. 11)…Also played 62 minutes in a 1-0 shutout at Widener University (Sept. 3).

Soccer 2015: Played in all 16 games for the Scarlet Raptors, starting 15…Collected one assist and took three shots…Made Rutgers-Camden debut and her first start in the season opener against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Sept. 3), a 1-0 loss…The next day in a 4-1 victory over Cabrini College, played 53 minutes in the only game she didn’t start all year…In that contest, she assisted on the Raptors’ third goal, which was scored by Ashley Silva…A tough defender, she helped the Raptors record four shutouts and limit teams to one goal on five other occasions…Played the entire 110 minutes in double-overtime ties against William Paterson University (1-1 on Sept. 19) and Stockton University (0-0 on Oct. 29).

Pre-Rutgers: Played midfield on the 2014 women’s soccer team at Immaculata University, appearing in all 17 games…Started 12 games and collected two assists, tying for the team lead…Took 21 shots, nine on goal…Played 1,246 minutes…Notched an assist in a pair of 2-1 victories, coming against Baptist Bible (Oct. 1) and Notre Dame (Oct. 16)…Also played attack on the Mighty Macs’ lacrosse team during the 2015 spring season, appearing in eight games…Collected one ground ball, one caused turnover (both against Notre Dame on March 18) and one draw control (against Keystone on April 11).
