Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Rachel Green has played in 22 lacrosse games during her career at Rutgers-Camden, starting 21. She also has helped out the cross country program, running in one meet apiece during the 2019 Fall semester and the brief March 2021 season.
 
A Dean’s List student, Green also has captured numerous academic honors at Rutgers-Camden. She is a two-time New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention student.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 scholastic years…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring and 2020 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Lacrosse 2021: Started all five games during the Scarlet Raptors’ pandemic-shortened season…Collected three ground balls and one caused turnover…Collected two ground balls against powerful The College of New Jersey (April 17)…Had one ground ball and one caused turnover against Montclair State (April 21).
 
Cross Country 2020-21: Ran for the cross country team at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (March 20), posting a 6K time of 36:59.4 to finish fifth on the team and 34th of 36 overall.
 
Lacrosse 2020: During the Scarlet Raptors’ abbreviated two-game season, ended early by the COVID-19 pandemic, appeared in two games, starting one…Played all 60 minutes in the season opener against Manhattanville (March 7)…Appeared in the Raptors’ second game at Bryn Mawr (March 10), playing in 35 minutes.
 
Cross Country 2019: Ran in the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 12), finishing fourth on the Rutgers-Camden team and 106th of 123 overall (35:32.4).
 
Lacrosse 2019: Started all 15 games for Rutgers-Camden…Collected four ground balls and four caused turnovers…Made her collegiate debut in the season opener against Penn State-Abington (March 14)...Had her first collegiate ground ball and caused turnover against DeSales (March 23)…Notched her highs of two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Rosemont (April 4).
 
High School: Graduated from Seneca High School in 2018.
 
Personal: Born July 6, 1999…Enjoys going to the beach, traveling, music and playing volleyball and lacrosse…Health Sciences major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to attend graduate school and become a physical therapist…Rachel is the daughter of Kathleen and Samuel Green of Shamong.
