Biography
Taylor Reader heads into her second season with the Rutgers-Camden lacrosse program after playing in 14 of the Scarlet Raptors’ 15 games in 2016.

Lacrosse 2016:  Appeared in 14 games…Made one start…Notched eight goals and one assist for nine points…Took 18 shots, with 16 on goal for an .889 percentage…Added seven ground balls and three caused turnovers…Made collegiate debut at Lycoming College (March 4)…In her next game, at Rosemont College (March 7), collected two goals, one ground ball and one caused turnover…Added two ground balls and one caused turnover at Gwynedd Mercy University (March 10)…Had her highest-scoring game on March 19 when she made her first collegiate start against Wilkes University in the Raptors’ 14-13 victory, collecting two goals and her first collegiate assist, while adding one ground ball…Added single goals in her next four games, coming against Delaware Valley University (March 22), Penn State-Abington (March 24), Neumann University (March 31) and Immaculata University (April 4)…Added one ground ball against Abington and a ground ball and caused turnover against Immaculata.

High School: Lacrosse and field hockey letterwinner at Maple Shade High School, earning six total varsity letters…Captured All-Conference Second Team honors in both sports as a junior and a senior.

Personal: Born March 15, 1997…Enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking care of animals and playing in softball and field hockey leagues, in addition to lacrosse…Childhood Studies major who plans on becoming an elementary school teacher…Taylor is the daughter of Scott and Diane Reader of Maple Shade.
