Biography

Victoria Heifet returns for her third season with the Scarlet Raptors, where she will help anchor the Rutgers-Camden defense. In her two seasons, she has played in 27 games, collecting 37 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and nine draw controls.
 
4825A stellar student as well, she was named New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention during the 2015-16 scholastic year and was a member of the inaugural Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (Fall 2015 semester). She added a berth on the AD Honor Roll for the 2016 Fall semester.
 
Lacrosse 2016: Played in 14 of the Raptors’ 15 games, starting three…Had 12 ground balls, four caused turnovers and five draw controls…Collected multiple ground balls in three games, with a high of three against Kean University (April 9)…Also had her first caused turnover of the season in that Kean game…Notched two draw controls against Ramapo College (April 23) to set her career high, helping Rutgers-Camden win its first New Jersey Athletic Conference game in program history, 16-11…Had two ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control against both Stockton University (April 19) and Montclair State University (April 30).
 
Lacrosse 2015: Played in 13 games, starting six…Notched 25 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and four draw controls…Made her collegiate debut at Immaculata University (Feb. 28), collecting three ground balls and one caused turnover…That game was the first of eight contests in which she notched multiple ground balls, including a career high of six ground balls against Neumann University (April 13)…Had four straight games of two or more ground balls from March 14-23…Made her first career start against Stockton on April 7 and notched two ground balls and one caused turnover…Started every other game the rest of the season…Had one draw control in three straight games (April 13-21)…Notched two caused turnovers against both Ramapo College (April 11) and Kean University (April 18)…Took her lone shot against Lycoming College (March 14).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Attended the University of Alabama.
 
High School: Captured three varsity letters in soccer, one in winter track and one in spring track at Cherry Hill High School West…Earned Second Team All-Conference honors and served as the Lions’ team captain during her senior season in soccer.
 
Personal: Born August 4, 1994…Nicknamed “The Bull”….Enjoys burning candles all the way to the end, fish tank cleaning with her sister (former Scarlet Raptor lacrosse star Breanna) and traveling…Social Work major with a Psychology minor who plans on getting her Masters of Social Work in Addictions…Victoria is the daughter of John and Victoria Heifet of Cherry Hill.
