After being limited to three games during an injury-riddled 2024 season, Ryan Joseph displayed his talents during a healthy 2025 campaign. Joseph captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention during a season in which he had freshman athletic eligibility.
Baseball 2025: New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention…Hit .292 while starting 24 of his 27 games…Had three doubles, one triple, 12 runs and 20 RBIs…Added 13 walks and one HBP, posting a .385 on-base percentage and a .348 slugging percentage…Added one sacrifice fly, two sacrifices and went 2-for-3 on stolen base attempts…Posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with 29 putouts and three assists…Became the Scarlet Raptors’ starting left fielder in early April and solidified his hold on that position with a stellar performance the rest of the way…Saw his first action of the season as a pinch-hitter/designated hitter against Rosemont (March 12), going 1-for-2 with a double, one run and two RBIs…Made his first career start as the Raptors’ designated hitter against Saint John’s University (March 20), going 0-for-3…Became a full-time starter on April 4 against The College of New Jersey, going 1-for-3 with a double, one run, one RBI, a walk and a stolen base, while collecting his first career putout…Had his first multi-hit game with a 2-for-4 day against nationally-ranked Rowan (April 10)…Went 3-for-7 with a triple, a walk, two runs and one RBI during a doubleheader at Rutgers-Newark (April 13), while adding five putouts and one assist…Went 2-for-5 with a double, a walk and four RBIs against Rowan on April 14, stretching his hitting streak to four games (7-for-16, 438)///Went 1-for-3 with two RBIs, a sacrifice and a stolen base against Stockton (April 18)…Had two walks in the opening game of a doubleheader at Ramapo (April 19) and went 2-for-4 in the nightcap…Had a three-game hitting streak April 24-26, going 6-for-13 (.462) with one run and four RBIs…The streak included a 2-for-5 game with one run and three RBIs against Montclair State (April 25) and a 3-for-4 game with one RBI against Willia Paterson (April 26, Game One)…In the NJAC tournament winners’ bracket final against Rowan (May 7), went 3-for-6 with three runs and three RBIs….In the NJAC title game win over The College of New Jersey, went 1-for-2 with a walk, one HBP, two runs and two RBIs, while collecting four putouts…Also had four putouts against Rensselaer (May 17) in the NCAA tournament.
Baseball 2024: Appeared in three games…Went 0-for-2 with one walk and one RBI…Had a .333 on-base percentage…Made his debut in the second game of a doubleheader against Rosemont (March 3) and walked in his lone at bat…In a game against York (Mardh 7), went 0-for-1, driving home a run with a ground out…Went 0-for-1 against Oneonta (March 12).
High School: Baseball and basketball letterman at Camden County Tech…Played baseball for Coach Barry Galasso and earned numerous honors, including All-Olympic Conference First Team as a senior…Also was a Camden County All-Star and a South Jersey All-Star as a senior and captured team Most Valuable Player honors in his junior and senior seasons…Earned Most School Spirit in Camden County…Graduated with 18 college credits in 2023.
