Ryan Rumsey has started 14 of his 16 mound appearances during his two seasons at Rutgers-Camden. A transfer from Xavier University, he owns an 8-5 record and a 4.42 ERA in 73.1 career innings. He has allowed 86 hits and 40 runs (36 earned), while walking 36 and striking out 45.

Baseball 2025: Finished fourth on the Rutgers-Camden pitching staff with seven starts, while working in eight games overall…Went 4-1 with one save and a 4.98 ERA…Worked 34.1 innings, allowing 40 hits and 21 runs (19 earned)…Walked 14, hit three and struck out 17…Won his first start of the season, working five innings of three-hit ball against Gwynedd Mercy (Feb. 25), allowing just one unearned run while fanning two…Earned his first Raptor save in a 6-3 win over Penn State-Abington (March 4), working 3.1 innings and allowing two hits and one run, while striking out two…Worked three innings without a decision as the Raptors rallied for a 10-8 win over Ripon (March 17), allowing seven hits, seven runs and four walks, while striking out one…Defeated Delaware Valley (April 1), pitching six innings of three-hit ball, allowing three runs (only two earned) and one walk, while adding two strikeouts…Worked five innings of seven-hit ball, allowing two runs and four walks, while collecting five strikeouts without getting a decision in a Raptor win at Keystone (April 7)…Allowed two runs, eight hits and three walks in six innings, while adding one strikeout to collect the win at Alvernia (April 15)…Raised his record to 4-0 in a pre-determined pitching split against Centenary (April 22), working four innings of three-hit shutout ball, striking out two…Suffered his lone loss against William Paterson (April 26, Game Two), pitching two innings, striking out two and allowing seven hits, two walks and five runs.
 
Baseball 2024: Appeared in eight games, starting seven…Worked 39 innings, allowing 46 hits and 19 runs (17 earned)…Posted a 4-4 record and a 3.92 ERA…He 22 walks, hit three batters and struck out 28…Made his Raptor debut pitching 2/3 of an inning against Immaculata (Feb. 24, Game Two), allowing two hits, two walks and four earned runs, taking the loss in a 4-0 game…Earned his first Raptor win in a 10-2 victory over Rosemont (March 3), making his first start and working five innings, allowing seven hits and two runs (only one earned), while walking two and striking out six…Pitched seven innings and earned the win in a 6-1 victory over Saint Joseph (March 11), allowing six hits, one earned run and two walks, while striking out seven…Raised his record to 3-1 by hurling five innings in an 8-5 win at Swarthmore (March 26), allowing six hits, two walks and two runs (one earned), while striking out one…Took the loss in a 4-2 defeat against The College of New Jersey (April 5), striking out one in five innings of four-hit ball, allowing five walks and two earned runs…Beat Rutgers-Newark (April 13) with seven innings of seven-hit ball, allowing one hit and one earned run, while tying his season high of seven strikeouts…Worked 4-1/3 innings in a 4-3 loss at Stockton (April 19), allowing six hits, five walks and three earned runs, while striking out two…Lost his final start, 7-3, at William Paterson (April 27), working five innings and allowing eight hits, four earned runs and three walks, while fanning four.
