Biography

Jillian Jaugan stepped into the Scarlet Raptors’ top singles spot during her freshman year at Rutgers-Camden and finished with an overall record of 20-13, a team-leading 13 doubles victories and a berth on the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Doubles Team. Her 13 doubles wins are the fifth-highest single-season total in program history.
 
Academically, Jaugan is a Dean’s List student, recording a pair of 4.0 GPA semesters during her freshman year.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a Dean’s List student for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…One of only 23 athletes on the 167-member 2024 Fall AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA…One of only 41 athletes on the 180-member 2025 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a 4.0 GPA.
 
Tennis Spring 2025: Named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference Doubles Team with partner Grace Albert…Earned NJAC Rookie of the Week on April 14…Posted a 3-4 record at first singles…Notched a 6-2 mark in doubles (3-2 in first doubles and 1-0 at second doubles, teaming with Albert, while going 1-0 at both second and third doubles paired with Elif Ozbay)…Recorded a 3-1 doubles record and a 2-2 singles mark in NJAC play…On the semester-opening weekend (Mar. 29-30), went 0-2 at first singles against rugged opponents Salisbury (2-6, 1-6) and NJAC power The College of New Jersey (0-6, 1-6), while also dropping a pair of 6-0 matches at first doubles…Collected a win at second doubles (6-3) and a loss at first singles (0-6, 0-6) against NJAC opponent Stockton (Apr. 5)…Captured back-to-back conference 6-0, 6-0 sweeps at first singles against Kean (Apr. 12) and William Paterson (Apr. 16), while also sweeping both first doubles matches by 6-0 scores…Posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at first singles and paired with Ozbay for a 6-0 win at third doubles against Trinity Washington (Apr. 18)…Joined Ozbay for a 6-0 win at second doubles against Bryn Athyn (Apr. 21)…Closed the season in a conference semifinal match against Stockton (Apr. 23), pairing with Albert for a 6-1 win at second doubles and losing a match at first singles (0-6, 2-6).
 
Tennis Fall 2024: Posted a 4-5 record while playing first singles in all nine Rutgers-Camden matches…Notched the team’s top doubles record of 7-2, including 5-2 at first doubles (with Katie Moore) and 2-0 at second doubles (1-0 with both Grace Albert and Bella Martinez)…Earned a pair of wins in her first collegiate match, the season opener against DeSales (Sept. 7), posting victories at the top spot in singles (6-2, 6-0) and doubles (6-4)…Lost at singles (3-6, 4-6) and won at doubles (7-5) against Penn State-Brandywine (Sept. 20)…Dropped matches in singles (1-6, 1-6) and doubles (0-6) against Division II Kutztown (Sept. 21)…Earned wins in singles (6-4, 4-6, 10-7) and doubles (6-3) against SUNY-Delhi (Sept. 22)…Won at second doubles (6-4 with Martinez) and lost in singles (1-6, 1-6) at Wilkes (Oct. 5)…Posted a 7-5 win at second doubles with Albert and dropped a 0-6, 0-6 singles match against Stockton (Oct. 11)…Lost a first doubles (5-7) and first singles match (6-4, 2-6, 3-10) at York (Oct. 12)…Earned wins in doubles (6-4) and singles (0-6, 4-2, retired) against Lehman (Oct. 14)…In the final match of the fall semester, posted a 6-2, 6-1 win in singles and a 6-2 doubles victory at Eastern (Oct. 19).
