Biography

LeAnne Hall played a major role in the success of the Rutgers-Camden women’s tennis program during her four years with the Scarlet Raptors. She posted a 30-13 career record in singles play, for the third-highest victory total in program history, and also tied the career mark for doubles wins with her 34-14 mark. Overall, her 64 total wins ranks third in program history. She also set a program record for the most doubles victories with the same opponent, teaming with Morgan Dempsey for 15 doubles wins, including 14 during their senior season in 2021-22.
 
A Dean’s List student throughout her collegiate career, Hall also is a three-time all-conference academic honoree.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 scholastic years…Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2018 Fall, 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring, 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring, 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring semesters…Dean’s List all eight semesters…One of 47 athletes on the 171-member 2020 Spring AD Honor Roll to record a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Tennis Spring 2022: Completed the 2021-22 scholastic year with a 10-5 record in singles and a 14-6 doubles mark for a combined 24-11 record…Went 4-4 in singles (1-0 at fourth singles, 3-4 at No. 5) and 5-5 at third doubles, teamed with Dempsey, during the spring semester…Earned a hard-fought New Jersey Athletic Conference win at fifth singles against William Paterson (March 26), winning 4-6, 6-0, 10-8…Posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at fourth singles against Bryn Athyn (March 19)…Three of her four singles losses came against the top three teams in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (eventual champion The College of New Jersey, runner-up New Jersey City and third-place Stockton), while the fourth came against a strong Ursinus team (April 8, 1-6, 2-6)…Posted NJAC wins against Ramapo (April 15, 8-3) and Kean (April 23, 6-2, 6-0), in addition to Paterson…In doubles, earned NJAC wins over Paterson (8-1), Ramapo (8-1) and Kean (8-4)…Also had doubles victories against Eastern (March 11, 8-1) and Bryn Athyn (8-0)…Had doubles losses against TCNJ twice, including in the conference semifinals, NJCU, Stockton and Ursinus.
 
Tennis Fall 2021: Posted the best overall record on the team (15-2) as the Scarlet Raptors notched a perfect 8-0 fall semester…Went 6-1 in singles play at the fifth spot, while combining with Morgan Dempsey to record a 9-1 record in doubles…The tandem went 7-0 in dual match play at third doubles and posted a 2-1 record in the B Doubles competition at the Goucher College Invitational (Oct. 9-10)…Won singles matches at Immaculata (Sept. 5, 8-4), against Goucher (Sept. 12, 6-3, 6-4), against Moravian (Sept. 18, 6-4, 6-0), at Bryn Mawr (Sept. 25, 0-6, 6-3, 6-4), against Drew (Sept. 26, 6-1, 6-3) and against Cedar Crest (Oct. 16, 6-0, 6-0)…Suffered her lone singles loss at York (Sept. 19, 4-6, 2-6)…In dual doubles competition, earned wins against Immaculata (8-2), Goucher (8-2), Moravian (8-0), York (8-3), Bryn Mawr (8-3), Drew (8-1) and Cedar Crest (8-0)…At the Goucher Invitational, sandwiched victories around their one loss, beating a duo from Goucher (6-2, 6-1), losing to the eventual champions from Lebanon Valley 2-6, 5-7) and beating Stockton (6-2, 6-4).
 
Tennis Spring 2021: Posted a 4-4 record in singles (1-0 at second singles and 3-4 in the third spot)…Went 5-3 in doubles, including 4-2 in the top spot with Samantha Hoban and 1-1 at second doubles with Hannah Cohan…Her nine overall wins tied for the team lead with Hoban…Named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Week on May 3, following a pair of wins over New Jersey City University (May 1) in the NJAC quarterfinals: a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles and an 8-2 win at second doubles with Cohan…Opened the season with two wins over NJCU (March 27) at second singles (6-1, 6-2) and first doubles (8-7) with Hoban…Split two matches against Ramapo (April 10), losing at third singles (1-6, 1-6) and winning at first doubles (8-6 with Hoban)…Posted wins at third singles (5-7, 5-0, retired) and first doubles (8-7 with Hoban) against Kean (April 17)…Dropped a pair of matches against TCNJ (April 18) at third singles (0-6, 1-6) and first doubles (0-8 with Hoban)…Won at third singles (6-0, 6-0) and first doubles (8-1 with Hoban) against William Paterson (April 20)…Lost a pair of matches in two battles against Stockton (April 22 during the regular season and May 6 in the NJAC semifinals)…In those matches, lost 0-6, 0-6 in both battles at third singles…Lost at first doubles (0-8) with Hoban on April 22 and at second doubles (2-8 with Cohan) on May 6.

Tennis Fall 2019: Compiled a 16-3 overall mark, including a 7-2 record in singles (1-0 third singles, 6-2 fourth singles) and the team’s best doubles record of 9-1 (all at second doubles, teaming with Aubrey Hawn nine times and with Morgan Dempsey once)…Had the team’s best overall record against New Jersey Athletic Conference opponents at 9-2, with the lone defeats coming against perennial NJAC champion TCNJ on Sept. 1 (1-6, 0-6 in singles and 1-8 in doubles)…Opened her season with an 8-2 doubles win at Stockton (Aug. 31) before rallying for a marathon 4-6, 6-3, 11-9 victory at fourth singles…Won an 8-5 doubles match at Goucher (Sept. 9) before losing at singles (2-6, 5-7)…That was her last loss of the season as she went a combined 13-0 the rest of the way…Earned two wins at Cairn (Sept. 11) with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in singles and an 8-0 shutout in doubles…Also won 6-1, 6-0 in singles and 8-0 in doubles at Kean (Sept. 14)…In her lone match playing at No. 3 singles, posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at Juniata (Sept. 15) and played her only doubles match teaming with Morgan Dempsey to post an 8-2 victory…Defeated Ramapo (Sept. 21) in singles (6-0, 6-4) and doubles (8-2), marking the last time an opponent scored any doubles points off her and Hawn the rest of the season…Posted an 8-0 doubles win and an 8-7 (7-3) victory in singles at Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 27)…Turned in a dominating performance against William Paterson (Sept. 28), posting an 8-0 win in doubles and a 6-0, 6-0 singles victory…In the Raptors’ final match of the season, played only at second doubles with Hawn as they posted an 8-0 victory against Rutgers-Newark.
 
Tennis Spring 2019: Went 2-0 at fourth singles in the Raptors’ two spring matches, winning at Penn State-Abington (8-6, April 6) and against Yeshiva (3-6, 6-4, 10-7)…Lost a pair of 8-5 decisions at second doubles in those matches, teamed with Tiffany Trivers and Erica Steer, respectively.
 
Tennis Fall 2018: Went 7-2 in nine fall matches at singles (6-2 at fourth singles and 1-0 at the third spot) and 6-2 teaming with Hawn at doubles (4-1 first doubles, 2-1 second doubles)…Captured the first Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week honor for the 2018-19 scholastic year, earning recognition on Sept. 3 after opening her collegiate career Aug. 31 with a pair of wins against Stockton, 6-4, 6-3 at fourth singles and 8-2 at second doubles…After a pair of losses in singles and doubles against perennial conference champion The College of New Jersey (Sept. 6), lost only one match in singles and one in doubles the rest of the semester…Won at fourth singles against Cedar Crest (6-2, 6-0, Sept. 15), Goucher (1-6, 6-2, 7-5, Sept. 16), Kean (7-5, 6-4, Sept. 30), Rutgers-Newark (6-0, 6-0, Oct. 6) and Ursinus (6-2, 6-4, Oct. 7), and added a 6-1, 6-4 win at third singles at William Paterson (Sept. 28)…Earned wins at first doubles with Hawn against Cedar Crest (8-0, Sept. 15), Goucher (8-7 (7-2), Sept. 16), Kean (8-0, Sept. 30) and Rutgers-Newark (8-1, Oct. 6), while also winning 8-5 at second doubles against Ramapo (Oct. 3).
 
High School: A tennis letterwinner at Arthur P. Schalick High School for Coach John Romano…As a junior, earned All-Group 1 Doubles and All-Conference First Team honors…As a senior, captured All-Conference Second Team recognition…Added the Captain’s Award and the Golden Racquet Award during her senior year…National Honor Society…Foreign Language Society…Graduated in 2018.
