One of the Scarlet Raptors’ key starters as a freshman, point guard Maniya Simon played in every game for Rutgers-Camden during the 2023-24 season.

Basketball 2023-24: Played in all 25 games, starting 24…Led the team with 52 assists…Finished second on the club with 37 steals…Fifth on the Raptors in scoring (5.2 ppg) and rebounding (4.4 rpg)…Shot 44-for-215 (.205) from the floor, including 6-for-27 (.222) from three-point range…Shot 36-for-86 (.419) from the foul line…Made her collegiate debut starting the season opener against Drew (Nov. 8), scoring three points and adding three rebounds, two assists and two steals…Collected her high of eight rebounds against Penn State-Abington (Nov. 16) and tied that total against New Jersey City (Jan. 10)…Collected her first of two double-digit scoring games with 10 points against Kean (Dec. 13), shooting 5-for-10 from the floor…Had her season high of 11 points against Ramapo (Feb. 3), aided by 5-for-8 shooting from the foul line…Had a season high of six assists against Saint Elizabeth (Nov. 14) and added five assists in the Jan. 10 NJCU game…In her first game against Ramapo, on Jan. 6, collected her high of four steals.
