Biography

One of the all-time great players in Rutgers-Camden women’s tennis history, Tiffany Trivers was remarkably consistent throughout her four years with the Scarlet Raptors, going 33-13 in both singles and doubles play for a combined 66-26 career record. Her 33 singles wins and 66 overall wins are the second-highest totals in program history, while her 33 doubles victories rank third.
 
Trivers has been the New Jersey Athletic Conference Co-Rookie of the Year, a NJAC First Team player and the Scarlet Raptors’ team Most Valuable Player during her career, in addition to adding academic honors.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll during the 2018 Fall, 2019 Spring, 2019 Fall, 2020 Spring and 2021 Spring semesters…Dean’s List during the Spring 2019 semester.
 
Tennis Spring 2022: Compiled an overall season record of 26-10, going 12-7 at third singles and 14-3 at first doubles…During the spring semester, went 4-4 in singles and 6-3 at doubles, teaming with Sarah Ahrens…Her 14 doubles wins with Ahrens tied for the single-season program record for the most victories with the same doubles partner, matching the mark that teammates Morgan Dempsey and LeAnne Hall also set during the 2021-22 campaign…Her lone singles losses in the spring came against the top three teams in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (eventual champ The College of New Jersey, runner-up New Jersey City and third-place finisher Stockton), as well as a strong Ursinus team (losing a marathon match April 8 by scores of 6-1, 6-7, 5-7)…Earned a 6-1, 6-0 win over Eastern (March 11) and posted NJAC wins against William Paterson (March 26, 6-0, 6-0), Ramapo (April 15, 6-2, 6-2) and Kean (April 23, 4-6, 6-2, 10-5)…Went 6-3 with Ahrens during the spring doubles competition, losing only against TCNJ twice (once in the conference semifinals) and NJCU…Posted non-conference wins against Eastern (8-2) and Ursinus (8-5)…Earned NJAC doubles victories against William Paterson (8-0), Stockton (April 9, 8-7 (7-5)), Ramapo (8-2) and Kean (8-1).
 
Tennis Fall 2021: Teamed with Sarah Ahrens to post a perfect 8-0 doubles record, including 7-0 at the top spot and 1-0 at second doubles…Notched an 8-3 record in singles, including 6-2 during dual match play at third singles and a 2-1 mark as a finalist in the C Singles competition at the Goucher College Invitational (Oct. 9-10)…During competition in third singles, posted back-to-back wins on Sept. 4 and 5 against FDU-Florham (6-2, 6-3) and Immaculata (8-2) to open the season…After a pair of losses against Goucher (Sept. 12, 2-6, 6-2, 5-10) and Moravian (Sept. 18, 2-6, 3-6), posted victories at York (Sept. 19, 6-2, 6-4), at Bryn Mawr (6-4, 6-0) and home against Drew (Sept. 26, 6-3, 6-2)…Closed out the dual match fall season with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep against Cedar Crest (Oct. 16)…At the Goucher Invitational, reached the C Singles final with wins against St. Mary’s (6-2, 6-1) and Lebanon Valley (5-7, 6-1, 10-5) before losing to Gettysburg (4-8)…Started her perfect fall semester at second doubles with Ahrens during an 8-3 victory against FDU-Florham…Played first doubles the rest of the season, with an 8-0 win over Immaculata, an 8-6 win over Goucher, an 8-3 victory against Moravian, an 8-5 triumph over York and 8-0 wins against both Bryn Mawr and Cedar Crest, sandwiched around an 8-3 victory against Drew.
 
Tennis Spring 2021: Helped Rutgers-Camden reach the New Jersey Athletic Conference semifinals by posting a 3-3 singles record (0-1 first singles and 3-2 second singles), along with a 4-3 record in doubles…Went 1-1 at first doubles with Samantha Hoban and 3-2 at second doubles with Hannah Cohan…Posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at second singles and an 8-4 win at second doubles against Ramapo (April 10)…Won both second singles (6-4, 6-1) and second doubles (8-5) against Kean (April 17)…Lost in the second spots against NJAC powerhouse The College of New Jersey (0-6, 1-6 in singles and 1-8 in doubles) on April 18 before bouncing back with a dominant performance at William Paterson (April 20), sweeping both matches at second singles (6-0, 6-0) and second doubles (8-0)…Lost at second singles (1-6, 2-6) and second doubles (0-8) against Stockton in the regular-season finale...Posted an 8-1 victory with Hoban at first singles as Rutgers-Camden eliminated New Jersey City (May 1) in the NJAC quarterfinals…Dropped her match at first doubles (2-8) with Hoban in the NJAC semifinals against Stockton (May 6).

Tennis Fall 2019: New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team…Named both the NJAC Player of the Week and Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on Sept. 16…Posted an overall record of 15-5…Tied for the most singles victories on the Raptors, posting an 8-2 mark (1-0 at first singles and 7-2 at second singles)…Combined with Danielle Lemma to notch a 7-3 record as the Raptors’ top doubles team…Posted a season-opening 6-2, 6-4 win against Stockton (Aug. 31) in singles, while dropping an 8-4 decision in doubles…Lost both singles and doubles matches against TCNJ (Sept. 1, 1-6 and 0-6 in singles and 3-8 in doubles)  and Goucher (Sept. 9, 4-6, 5-7 in singles and 3-8 in doubles) before going undefeated the rest of the season…Swept Cairn University (Sept. 11), winning in singles (6-1, 6-0) and doubles (8-2)…Captured a singles win (6-2, retired) and a doubles victory (8-3) against Kean (Sept. 14)…In her only match at first singles, beat Juniata (6-4, 6-1) on Sept. 15 and added an 8-4 victory in doubles…Earned wins against Ramapo College (Sept. 21) in singles (retired) and doubles (8-4) and prevailed in a pair of close matches against Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 27), winning 8-5 in singles and 8-6 in doubles…Closed the season with two outstanding performances against NJAC rivals William Paterson (Sept. 28) and Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 30)…Against Paterson, swept her singles match (6-0, 6-0) and posted an 8-3 doubles win with Lemma…In the Newark match, won at both singles (6-1, 6-1) and doubles (8-2).
 
Tennis Spring 2019: Named team MVP for the 2018-19 scholastic year…Posted a 2-0 mark in singles and a 1-1 doubles record during the Scarlet Raptors’ two spring matches…Won at third singles against Penn State-Abington (April 6, 8-3) and Yeshiva (April 14, 6-0, 6-3)…Lost at second doubles, 8-5, with LeAnne Hall against Penn State-Abington…Won at first doubles, 8-4, with Aubrey Hawn against Yeshiva.
 
Tennis Fall 2018: Captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Co-Rookie of the Year…NJAC Rookie of the Week on both Sept. 3 and Oct. 8…Went 8-1 in singles (7-1 at third singles, 1-0 at second singles), losing only against perennial conference champion The College of New Jersey (Sept. 6)…Posted a 7-3 doubles record teaming with Danielle Lemma, including a 7-2 mark in dual matches (5-0 at second doubles and 2-2 at first doubles) and a 0-1 mark in the USTA/ITA regionals (losing 8-5 against Ithaca, Sept. 22)…Won both her third singles (6-2, 6-4) and first doubles (8-6) matches in her first collegiate match, the season opener against Stockton (Aug. 31)…Captured wins at third singles against Cedar Crest (6-0, 6-0) and Goucher (2-6, 6-3, 6-1) on back-to-back days, Sept. 15-16…Posted a win in her lone match at second singles (7-5, 6-1) against William Paterson (Sept. 28)…Notched wins at third singles against Kean (Sept. 30, 6-1, 6-1), Ramapo (Oct. 3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2), Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 6, 6-0, 6-0) and Ursinus (Oct. 7, 6-2, 6-3)…Earned wins at second doubles against Cedar Crest (Sept. 15, 8-0) and Goucher (Sept. 16, 8-3)…Posted a win at first doubles against William Paterson (Sept. 28, 8-0) and victories at second doubles against Kean (Sept. 30, 8-2), Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 6, 8-1) and Ursinus (Oct. 7, 8-7 (7-4)).
 
High School: Multi-sport athlete who earned seven varsity letters competing in tennis (four years), lacrosse (freshman and sophomore years) and track (one letter as a senior) at Egg Harbor Township High School…Named All-Group 4 in singles in 2014 and 2015…First Team Cape Atlantic League doubles champion in 2014…Graduated in 2018.
