Biography
Tory Whiting was off to a fine start for the Scarlet Raptors during the 2019-20 season before his campaign ended prematurely with an injury. A transfer to Rutgers-Camden, he started his first four games before he was sidelined.

Basketball 2019-20: Started four games before an injury ended his season…Averaged 6.5 points and 2.3 rebounds…Collected eight assists and five steals…Shot 8-for-21 (.381) from the floor, including 4-for-13 (.308) from three-point range…Shot 6-for-10 (.600) from the foul line…Made his Rutgers-Camden debut in the season opener at Arcadia (Nov. 9), collecting five points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal…Had a season-high 12 points, two steals and four assists against John Jay College (Nov. 13), while adding one rebound…Scored four points and added three assists, one rebound and one steal against City College of New York (Nov. 23)…In his last game before being sidelined with an injury, scored five points and added three rebounds and one steal against Rowan (Nov. 26).

Pre-Rutgers: Played basketball at the Charlotte, North Carolina campus of Johnson & Wales University in 2016-17, averaging 0.9 points and 0.4 rebounds in seven games, while adding three assists and three steals…Also played at Mercer County College (2017-18), starting 22 of his 26 games and averaging 7.5 points and 3.0 rebounds, while collecting 99 assists, 40 steals and six blocks.
