Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach
The 2014 season marks Coach Brown’s second year as an Assistant Coach of the Rutgers-Camden Women’s Volleyball Program.
In 2013 Rutgers-Camden posted a 7-26 overall record and a 3-5 record in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Brown assisted Dever in leading the team to the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Playoffs as the sixth seed. Two players – Olivia Rowland and Morgan Halbruner – earned All-NJAC Honorable Mention.
Brown graduated from Rutgers-Camden in 2013 with a degree in Psychology. Rebecca was a member of the Women’s Volleyball Team from 2010 – 2012. She finished her Rutgers-Camden Career with 516 Kills (5th All-Time), 133 Service Aces (5th All-Time), and 956 Digs (3rd All-Time).
In 2012, her team had a 24-8 overall record and a 6-2 record in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The 24 wins was a program record for single season wins. The Scarlet Raptors made their first birth ever in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Match and the Semifinals Match in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. Named the team’s Most Valuable Player. In 2011 the team made a berth in the NJAC semifinals, when the Scarlet Raptors finished with a 14-17 record overall. In 2010 the Scarlet Raptors appeared in the NJAC semifinals and finished with a 18-13 overall record.
Before transferring the Rutgers-Camden, she attended Camden County College for two years. Rebecca Graduated from Cherry Hill High School East in 2008…Four-year volleyball letterwinner …Captured Second Team All-South Jersey and First Team Olympic Conference American Division honors during both her junior and senior seasons…Named Player of the Week.
