Paul D. Lano returns to the Rutgers-Camden volleyball coaching staff for his seventh season during the 2025-2026 scholastic year. A longtime scholastic and club volleyball coach, Lano joined the Scarlet Raptors’ program for the 2019 campaign.
 
The head volleyball coach at Princeton Day School from 2002-08 and 2015-19, he took his team from a winless season to an undefeated regular season over one three-year span.
 
Lano also served as the head coach of the girls volleyball 16’s with the Atlantic Valley Volleyball Club from 2011-12, the East Coast Crush Volleyball Club 16’s from 2012-17 and the Marlton Volleyball Club 16’s since 2017.
 
His extensive volleyball coaching career included a pair of stints as an assistant coach at Rider University, serving as a volunteer assistant from 2005-07 and as the school’s first assistant from 2008-11.
 
A former track athlete at Hamilton West High School, Lano lives in Trenton and works as a graphic artist for the State of New Jersey.
