Biography

Erica Nebrich started her collegiate volleyball career by capturing New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and NJAC Honorable Mention honors as a freshman. By the time she finished a stellar four-year career, she had added numerous other honors and finished among the program’s career leaders with 150 aces (sixth), 2,136 attacks (eighth), 2.22 kills per set (eighth), 671 kills (12th), 637 digs (13th) and a .168 hitting percentage (15th).
 
A Dean’s List and all-conference academic student, Nebrich played in 302 sets over 86 career matches at Rutgers-Camden.

Volleyball 2023: Played in 97 sets over 27 matches…Finished second on the team in digs (282), digs per set (2.91), service aces (37) and hitting percentage (.259)…Placed fourth on the Raptors in kills (190) and kills per set (1.96)…Added 15 assists and 10 blocks (three solo, seven assisted)…Second on the team with four double-doubles with kills and digs, including the first match of the season against Dickinson (Sept. 1), when she had 12 kills and 13 digs…Had a season-high 19 digs and added 10 kills for a double-double against Rowan (Sept. 19)…Notched a double-double with 18 digs and a season-high 18 kills at Alvernia (Oct. 8)…Had 15 digs and 11 kills in a double-double at Wilkes (Oct. 28)…Had 14 matches with double digits in digs and five matches with double digits in kills…Collected her high of five service aces against both Wilkes (Sept. 16) and Washington College (Sept. 23)…Had two blocks against both Penn State-Harrisburg (Sept. 16, both solo blocks) and Brooklyn (Oct. 1, both assisted blocks)…Had a high of three assists in the Washington College match (Sept. 23).
 
Volleyball 2022: Captured NJAC Honorable Mention…Named Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on Sept. 26…Played in 21 matches and 74 sets before a late-season injury forced her to miss the final eight matches of the season…Despite the missed time, she still finished third on the team in kills (191), total attacks (603) and blocks (22, including two solo and 20 assisted)…Placed fifth on the team in digs (162) and sixth in both assists (13) and service aces (24)…Was second on the team in kills per set (2.58)…Recorded 10 matches with double-digit kills, including a high of 15 against Ramapo (Sept. 22), a match that was bookended by 13-kill matches against William Paterson (Sept. 20) and Elizabethtown (Sept. 24)…Notched double-digit digs on seven occasions, with a high of 26 against Montclair State (Oct. 11)…Had four blocks against Vassar (one solo, three assisted) on Sept. 3…Posted six double-doubles with kills and digs, including Sept. 20 against William Paterson (13 kills, 18 digs), Sept. 22 against Ramapo (15/12), Sept. 24 against Elizabethtown (13/11), Sept. 27 against New Jersey City (13/11), Oct. 9 against Brooklyn (11/11) and Oct. 11 against Montclair State (13/26)…In the match against NJCU, collected a hitting percentage of .324 with her 13 kills and only one error in 37 attempts.
 
Volleyball 2021: Finished among the program’s all-time single-season leaders with 76 aces (third), 0.70 aces/set (sixth), 233 kills (14th) and 692 total attacks (14th)…Led the 2021 team in aces, while placing second in total attacks, third in kills, fourth in blocks (23, including five solo) and fifth in digs (147)…Notched double-digits kills on eight occasions, including highs of 13 against Elizabethtown (Oct. 9) and William Paterson (Oct. 12)…Hit .556 (11 kills, one error in 18 attacks) against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 7)…Notched her highs of seven service aces in the William Paterson and Penn State-Abington matches, while adding six aces against Penn State-Harrisburg (Sept. 19), Merchant Marine (Oct. 2) and Wilkes (Oct. 30)…Added four assisted blocks in the Merchant Marine match…Had her high of 12 digs against King’s College (Sept. 11).
 
Volleyball 2020: New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year…NJAC Honorable Mention…NJAC Rookie of the Week (March 22)…Tied for first on the team by playing in all seven matches and all 23 sets during the pandemic-shortened season, which was held in March, 2021…Led the Scarlet Raptors with 167 total attacks, 57 kills and 2.48 kills per set…Tied for first on the team with 13 aces and 0.57 aces per set…Second on the team with 46 digs and second among regulars with 2.00 digs per set…Fourth on the club with six total blocks and 0.26 blocks per set…Compiled a .216 hitting percentage, second among all players with 40 or more kills…Also added three assists…Notched a double-double in her first collegiate match, the season opener at William Paterson (March 2), when she had 13 digs and 10 kills, while adding one assist and hitting .320…Also had a double-double against Montclair State (March 11) with her season highs of 15 digs and 11 kills in 47 attacks, while adding two service aces and two assisted blocks…Had four matches with 10 or more kills, including 10-kill performances against New Jersey City (March 9, while hitting .316) and Kean (March 16, hitting .391)…Added four and three aces in those matches, respectively…Helped Rutgers-Camden sweep its NJAC quarterfinal match against New Jersey City (March 18), hitting .375 with seven kills, while adding three aces, five digs and three assisted blocks…
