Biography

A two-year Scarlet Raptor letterwinner, Erin Thompson had a stellar sophomore season, earning all-conference honors while collecting 487 digs, the fifth-highest single-season mark in Rutgers-Camden history. With 597 career digs, she ranks eighth on the program’s all-time list.
Volleyball 2015: Played in 96 sets over 27 matches…Compiled 487 digs, 45 assists, 15 service aces and seven kills… Set a career match-high total of 30 digs against Alfred State (Nov. 11)… Posted 28 digs against Widener University (Sept. 18), tying for second all-time in program history for total digs in a three-set match… Named to the DeSales University All-Tournament Team…Named New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention… Helped team reach the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament and the ECAC

Metro/Upstate Volleyball Championship Tournament.
Volleyball 2014: Played in 60 sets over 22 matches…Compiled 110 digs, 82 assists and six service aces… Set a career match-high total with 28 digs against Delaware Valley College (Sept. 25)…Notched a match-high total with 16 assists against Baruch College (Aug. 29).
High School: Earned three varsity letters in volleyball, one varsity letter in lacrosse, and three varsity letters in winter/spring track at Oakcrest High School…Two-time First Team All-Conference selection…Two-year team captain and team MVP.. Four-year Merit Scholar and two-year varsity scholar.
Personal: Born March 17, 1996…Nicknamed “Cubs”…Interests include being with friends, dancing and spending time with her family…Health Sciences major who plans on going to grad school and eventually working in a hospital…Erin is the daughter of Scott Thompson of Mays Landing, NJ.
