Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Haley Novak finished her Rutgers-Camden volleyball career playing in 114 matches (11th on the program’s all-time list) and also ranking 15th in both sets (334) and digs (586). She tied for 16th on the career list with 90 service aces.
 
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2019 Spring and 2022 Fall semesters.
 
Volleyball 2022: Played in 27 matches and 99 sets…Led the team with 48 service aces and finished third with 185 digs…Placed fourth on the team with 18 assists…Added 12 kills…Notched double-digit digs eight times, including highs of 14 against both Ramapo (Sept. 22) ad Montclair State (Oct. 11)…Had double-digit digs in three straight matches from Sept. 22-24…Posted highs of six aces against both Ramapo (Sept. 22) and Moravian (Oct. 16), while adding five aces against Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 20)…Had three assists against Rowan (Sept. 13), Ramapo (Sept. 22) and New Jersey City (Sept. 27)…Her high of three kills came against Goucher (Oct. 22).
 
Volleyball 2021:  Played in 80 sets while appearing in all 31 Scarlet Raptor matches…Sixth on the Scarlet Raptors with 97 digs…Added five assists, five aces and three kills…Collected a high of 13 digs against Drew (Sept. 23)…Had six digs against Kean (Oct. 19), Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 21) and Kean again (Nov. 2)…Added her high of two assists in the Gwynedd Mercy match…Had a high of three service aces against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 7).
 
Volleyball 2020: During the pandemic-altered seven-match season played in the 2021 spring semester, she tied for the team lead by playing in all seven matches and 23 sets…Notched 36 digs (1.57 per set)…Added four kills, four aces and two assists…Had her season high of nine digs against Montclair State (March 11), while adding one service ace…Notched seven digs, four kills and one service ace against Kean (March 16)…Collected six digs, one assist and one ace against New Jersey City (March 9).
 
Volleyball 2019: Played in all 28 Rutgers-Camden matches, appearing in 70 sets…Finished fifth on the team with 166 digs and third in digs/set (2.37)…Placed fifth on the team in service aces (23) and aces/set (0.33)…Notched 17 kills and 13 assists…Collected 29 digs in a five-set match against Brooklyn (Oct. 19), one of her five matches with double-digit digs…Also had 17 digs against Gwynedd Mercy in the same Oct. 19 tri-match…Had 13 digs against Ursinus (Sept. 3), 11 against Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 17) and 10 against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 11)…Had two more matches with nine digs apiece, coming against DeSales (Aug. 31) and Delaware Valley (Sept. 5)…Collected three service aces on three occasions, coming against Delaware Valley, Penn State-Abington and Rosemont (Sept. 19)…Had a high of four assists against Brooklyn (Oct. 19)…Her high of three kills came against Keystone (Aug. 31)…Added three straight matches with two kills apiece, coming against Penn State-Abington and in a Sept. 14 tri-match with Immaculata and Widener.
 
Volleyball 2018: Played in 21 matches, starting six…Appeared in 62 sets…Sixth on the team with 102 digs…Added seven kills, 10 aces and four assists…Made her collegiate debut against Colby-Sawyer (Sept. 1), playing two sets and contributing four digs, one ace and one assists…Made her first start at Stockton (Sept. 18), notching one dig…Had her season-high totals of 12 and 11 digs in back-to-back matches against St. Joseph’s-Long Island (Oct. 13) and Ramapo (Oct. 16), while adding one kill in both matches…Notched three digs, one assist and a season-high three aces against New Jersey City (Oct. 23).
 
High School: Three-year varsity volleyball letterwinner for Coach Dave Childs at Souderton Area High School…Captured All-Conference Honorable Mention during her sophomore and senior seasons…Graduated in 2018.
