Biography
Two-time Scarlet Raptor tri-captain Jamie Mulligan closed the final season of her outstanding four-year career as one of the program’s all-time leaders in numerous categories. She finished third all-time in total attacks (2,843) and ended up tied for second in matches played (121). She finished among the career leaders in kills (871, seventh), kills per set (2.09, eighth), sets played (417, 11th), total blocks (69, 13th) and hitting percentage with a minimum of 50 career kills (.146, 15th).

A Dean’s List student who was named the team’s Most Dedicated Player as a junior, she earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during all eight of her collegiate semesters. She also captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention three times.

Volleyball 2019: Played in all 28 Rutgers-Camden matches, tying for the club lead with 96 sets played…Finished second on the team in kills (214) and third in kills/set (2.33)…Finished third on the club in digs (212) and fourth in digs/set (2.21)…Finished sixth on the team in service aces (21)…Added 13 blocks, and 18 assists…Led the club with 737 attack attempts, the seventh-highest single-season total in program history…Had a .153 hitting percentage…Combined kills and digs for five double-doubles during the season, including 11 digs and a season-high 14 kills at Wilkes (Oct. 26) and 10 kills and a season-high 22 digs against Brooklyn (Oct. 19)…Other double-doubles came against Montclair State (Sept. 26, with 15 digs and 10 kills), Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 19, with 17 digs and 13 kills, giving her a double-double in both ends of a tri-match) and New Jersey City (Oct. 29, 10 kills and 11 digs)…Recorded double-digit kills in nine matches…Had a season-high hitting percentage of .579 (12 kills, one error in 19 attempts) against Penn State-Brandywine (Oct. 10) and a .400 hitting percentage (13-3-25) against Clarks Summit (Sept. 21)…Collected double-digits in digs on seven occasions…Collected a season-high of four blocks (one solo, three assisted) against Ursinus (Sept, 3)…Registered two assists on four occasions, coming against Stevenson (Aug. 30), Alvernia (Oct. 5), Elizabethtown (Oct. 12) and Brooklyn (Oct. 19)…Had a high of three service aces against both John Jay (Oct. 2) and New Jersey City (Oct. 29).

Volleyball 2018: Named the team’s Most Dedicated Player…Served as one of the four team captains…Played in all 28 Rutgers-Camden matches, starting 18 and appearing in 98 of the Raptors’ 101 sets…Second on the team in kills (208) and kills per set (2.12)…Fourth on the team with 19 blocks (two solo and 17 assisted)…Added 93 digs, six assists and four aces…Had a .169 hitting percentage…Had double-digit kills on six occasions, with a high of 17 against Brooklyn (Sept. 22), when she hit .441 and added two digs and two block assists…Had 13 kills, five digs, one ace, one assisted block and a .385 hitting percentage against St. Joseph’s-Long Island (Oct. 13) during the nightcap of a tri-match…In the first match on Oct. 13, had eight kills and a season-high nine digs against Gwynedd Mercy…Notched 12 kills, hit .417 and added five digs and one assist against New Jersey City (Oct. 23)…Had six digs, six kills and her season high of two assists against Wilkes (Oct. 27).

Volleyball 2017: Played in 33 matches, tying a program single-season record for most matches…Finished second on the team in kills (256), fourth in service aces (32) and fifth in blocks (17, two solo and 15 assisted)…Led the club with 790 attack attempts, the sixth-highest single-season total in program history…Named to the All-Tournament Team at the DeSales University Invitational (Sept. 1-2)…Named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week Sept. 4…Had 16 kills against Utica College (Oct. 28), one shy of the Rutgers-Camden program record for a three-set match…Notched a pair of double-doubles during the season, collecting 14 kills and 17 digs against Haverford College (Sept. 15) and 11 kills and 10 digs against Catholic University (Sept. 16)…Had double-digit kills in 11 matches, with the 16 against Utica coming as her career high…Had four or more service aces on five occasions, including five in back-to-back matches against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 30) and Rutgers-Newark (Oct. 3)…Her 17 digs in the Haverford match marked a career high and was one of five matches in which she logged double digits in digs…Also had 16 digs against Ursinus College (Sept. 5).

Volleyball 2016: One of three players on the team to appear in all 32 matches and all 110 sets during the 2016 season…Finished second on the team in kills (194) and kills per set (1.76)…Led the Raptors with 684 attack attempts…Hit .111…Had 133 digs and a 1.21 digs/set mark…Added 16 assists and two service aces…Collected 17 assisted blocks (fourth on the team) and 20 total blocks (tied for fourth)…Notched double-digit kills on three occasions, with 12 against John Jay (Oct. 1) and 10 apiece against William Paterson (Sept. 22) and Lebanon Valley (Nov. 9 in the ECAC tournament)…Notched nine kills on five other occasions…Had a high of 13 digs against Ursinus (Sept. 6)…Had her high of three assisted blocks against Misericordia (Oct. 6) and notched one solo block and two assisted blocks for a total of three blocks against Penn State-Harrisburg (Oct. 30).

High School: Graduated from Pinelands Regional School in 2016 after capturing two varsity letters in volleyball for Coaches Kathy and Jerry Bennet…Named Third Team All-State and Atlantic City Press First Team…Honored as Pinelands’ Most Valuable Player.
