Biography
One of the top student-athletes in Rutgers-Camden volleyball history, Morgan Mulligan closed her four-year Scarlet Raptor career ranking among the Raptors’ career leaders in numerous categories. She ranks sixth in matches played (117) and total attacks (2,291), seventh in sets (407) and kills (786), 10th in hitting percentage (.204) and total blocks (109), 11th in service aces (106) and 13th in digs (601) and kills/set (1.93).

A two-time team tri-captain, Morgan was named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior. In the classroom, the Dean’s List student has earned three New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention recognitions. She also captured a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during all eight of her collegiate semesters.

Volleyball 2019: Played in 25 matches, appearing in 84 sets…Led the team with 232 kills and 2.76 kills/set…Finished second on the club with a .230 hitting percentage…Finished third on the team with 660 attack attempts…Placed fourth on the team in digs (188) and in digs/set (2.24)…Tied for fourth on the team in blocks (16)…Added 19 assists and 17 service aces…Named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on Oct. 14…Had 16 kills against Wilkes University (Sept. 21), tied for the third-highest single-match total in program history for a three-set match…Collected six double-doubles during the season and barely missed three more, finishing with nine digs twice and nine kills once in matches where she compiled a double-digit total in one of the categories…Overall, had 15 matches with double-digit kills and seven with double-digit digs…In addition to her 16 kills against Wilkes, had 15 kills against Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 12), while adding 14 digs for a double-double…Collected a season-high 19 digs and added 10 kills for a double-double against Ramapo (Oct. 22)…Also had double-doubles against Penn State-Abington (Sept. 11, with 11 kills and 10 digs), Widener (Sept. 14, 11 kills, 16 digs), Rutgers-Newark (Sept. 17, 11 kills, 13 digs) and Montclair State (Sept. 26, 11 kills, 13 digs)…Barely missed a double-double in her final career match, notching 16 digs and nine kills against New Jersey City (Oct. 29), while adding three service aces and two assists…Had a season-high four aces against Penn State-Brandywine (Oct. 10)…Collected two assists on four occasions…Had her season high of three blocks (one solo, two assisted) in the Sept. 26 Montclair State match.

Volleyball 2018: Named the team’s Most Valuable Player…Served as one of the four team captains…Started all 28 Rutgers-Camden matches and played in a team-high 100 sets…Led the Raptors in kills (233), kills per set (2.33) and digs 293)…Second on the team in service aces (46)…Notched 17 blocks (three solo, 14 assisted) and 18 assists…Hit .208…Notched a team-high 10 double-doubles, all involving kills and digs, including 24 digs and 17 kills against Gwynedd Mercy (Oct. 13)…Named New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Week (Oct. 1) after helping Rutgers-Camden earn three-set sweeps over Penn State-Abington and Albright on Sept. 29…Had nine kills and nine digs against Abington and completed the day with 14 kills and 11 digs against Albright, hitting a combined .417 for the two matches…Collected 20 digs and 12 kills against NJAC rival Rowan (Oct. 9) and had 13 kills and 18 digs against Ramapo (Oct. 16) in another NJAC match…Posted double-digit digs in 14 matches and had 11 matches with double-digit kills…Notched three or more service aces on 10 occasions, including a high of six against Medgar Evers (Oct. 2)…Had a high of four assists against Washington College (Sept. 1) and a high of three assisted blocks in the season opener against DeSales (Aug. 31).

Volleyball 2017: Appeared in 32 matches and 113 of the team’s 116 sets…Ranked fourth on the Scarlet Raptors with 176 kills and 22 blocks (three solo, 19 assisted)...Had a .155 hitting percentage…Collected double-digit kills on four occasions, including 14 against John Jay College (Oct. 14), when she added her high of three blocks (all assisted)…Notched 13 kills apiece against Misericordia University (Sept. 7) and Neumann University (Sept. 16)…Had a high of five digs against Penn State-Berks (Oct. 21)…Collected two service aces in three consecutive matches, Sept. 21-23, against William Paterson University, Wesley College and Wilkes University…Logged her best hitting percentage of .462 (six kills, no errors in 13 attempts) against Gwynedd-Mercy University (Sept. 2).

Volleyball 2016: One of three players on the 2016 team to appear in all 32 matches and all 110 sets…Finished second on the team with 54 blocks, including a team-high 21 solo blocks…Fifth on the team with 145 kills (1.32 per set)…Compiled a .222 hitting percentage…Fourth on the team with 34 service aces (0.31 per set)…Had 66 digs and six assists…Had a stellar collegiate debut when she was named to the All-Tournament Team at the DeSales University Invitational (Sept. 2-3), collecting 18 kills, 10 assisted blocks, four aces and four digs in her first four college matches…Set a career high with 15 kills against New Jersey City University (Sept. 13)…Also added nine kills apiece against both Gwynedd Mercy (Sept. 3) and Wilkes (Oct. 30)…Had a career-high six blocks (all solo) against Widener University (Sept. 17) and notched her high of five assisted blocks against Misericordia (Oct. 6)…Also notched her high of six digs against Misericordia…Had a high of five aces against Penn State-Harrisburg (Oct. 30)…Had two assists apiece against William Paterson (Sept. 22) and Wilkes (Oct. 30).
