Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Senior outside hitter Cortnee Wilkerson had another outstanding week in an outstanding career for the Rutgers-Camden volleyball team. In four matches during the week, Wilkerson led the team with 47 kills and 17 service aces, while adding 50 digs (second on the team). She had double-doubles in three of the four matches and was one dig shy of making a fourth double-double, collecting 11 kills and 11 digs against Rowan, 12 kills and nine digs against William Paterson, 10 kills and 16 digs against Wesley and 14 kills and 14 digs against Wilkes. She also had six aces against Paterson and five apiece against Wilkes and Wesley. One of the Scarlet Raptors’ four captains, Wilkerson leads the team this season with 152 kills and 26 service aces, while ranking second in digs (107). She also has 10 blocks and four assists. For her four-year Raptor career, she currently ranks sixth on the all-time Rutgers-Camden charts for kills (721, 47 shy of tying for fifth place), seventh in sets played (368, six shy of tying for sixth place), ninth in matches played (107, two shy of tying for eighth place and only 14 shy of tying for the program record) and ninth in digs (521). A Political Science major, she also has been a member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
