Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Junior center back Trenton Hall has been one of the defensive anchors for the Rutgers-Camden men’s soccer team all season long, but last week he also played a huge role on the offensive side of the field. Hall scored a goal in both New Jersey Athletic Conference games as the Raptors dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at Rowan University Wednesday and won a 3-1 home game over William Paterson University Saturday. The goals were his first two of the season. At Rowan, he tied the game in the 79th minute, only 4:34 after the Profs had broken a scoreless deadlock. In the Paterson game, his header in the 84th minute broke a 1-1 tie and gave him his first game-winning goal as a Scarlet Raptor. Hall was a two-time Garden State Athletic Conference First Team player during his junior college career with Rowan College at Burlington County. He has started all 18 games in his first year at Rutgers-Camden, helping the Scarlet Raptors post a 0.86 goals-against average, five shutouts and a 12-4-2 record.
