Emily Hilt earns her second Raptor of the Week honor of the winter after she raised the bar on the Rutgers-Camden indoor track program’s shot put record for the third time this season. Hilt’s shot put of 12.22 meters on January 25 at the Collegeville Classic broke her own mark of 11.84 meters, which had been set January 17 at the Dutchmen Invite. That mark, in turn, broke the record of 11.58 meters that Hilt notched in her first meet of the season on December 6 at the Fastrack Season Opener. Hilt finished fourth of 47 shot putters at the Collegeville Classic, while recording her third ECAC-qualifying standard out of her four meets this season. She also has earned two ECAC qualifiers in her three competitions of the weight throw this season, including her program record-setting mark of 14.43 meters at the Fastrack Season Opener. Hilt, who has sophomore eligibility for indoor track, won her first Raptor of the Week honor on December 9.
