Kaliyah Moss became the first player in the history of the Rutgers-Camden volleyball program to capture All-America status last week when she was named Division III All-America Honorable Mention by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. As a result, she closes her stellar rookie season with her third Raptor of the Week honor, adding to the pair she won during the season on September 13 and October 25. A sophomore academically who had freshman eligibility, Moss also captured AVCA All-Region 4 honors after being named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and a NJAC First Team player. Her 10 double-doubles sparked the Scarlet Raptors to a 21-10 season, a berth in the title game of the Div. III ECAC Championships and the second-highest win total in program history. She led the team with 291 kills (the fourth-highest single-season total in program history), a .300 hitting percentage (seventh), 88 blocks (seventh) and 719 total attacks (11th). She also finished second on the team in digs (246) and third in service aces (48).
