Sophomore midfielder Dylan Pino had a big week to keep the Rutgers University-Camden men’s soccer team atop the New Jersey Athletic Conference standings with a 3-0 mark. Pino scored the game-winning goal during a 2-1 victory at Rutgers-Newark on Oct. 1, notching the winner with only 5:57 remaining in the contest and less than seven minutes after the Scarlet Raiders had tied the game at 1-1. On Saturday, Pino collected one goal and two assists as Rutgers-Newark defeated the nation’s 10th-ranked team, Rowan University, 4-3. His goal in the 19th minute gave the Raptors a 2-0 lead and he added two assists, one on the first goal of the game by Antonio Yantas and one on the eventual game-winning goal by Nik Grello. For the season, Pino is tied for third on the Scarlet Raptors in scoring with three goals and three assists for nine points.
