Junior libero Mia Owens recorded 80 digs in her four matches with the Rutgers-Camden volleyball team last week, including the 1,000th dig of her career as she became only the sixth player in program history to reach that milestone. She added 11 assists and six services aces. Owens collected her 1,000th dig while posting 25 digs against Gwynedd Mercy University on Thursday. She added a 26-dig performance against the home team in a tri-match at Neumann University on Saturday. Her 80 digs for the week hiked her career record to 1,051 and moved her into fifth place on the program’s all-time list. For the season, Owens owns 359 digs in her 19 matches and 78 sets (4.60 digs/set).
