Junior second baseman Austin Dubler has been a force in the lineup for the Rutgers University-Camden baseball team throughout the Scarlet Raptors’ first six games, hitting .462 with team-leading totals of 12 hits, eight runs and six stolen bases. In three games last week, Dubler went 7-for-13 (.538) with four runs and three RBIs, while stealing three bases. He also handled all eight defensive chances cleanly (two putouts, six assists) and is fielding 1.000 so far this season with six putouts and 10 assists. With 41 stolen bases already in his career, Dubler is tied for third on the program’s all-time list.
