After the Devils scored a pair of unearned runs in the top of the second inning, Rutgers-Camden bounced back with three runs in the bottom of the frame, sparked by a leadoff single from junior first baseman
Connor Hall (Delran, NJ/Delran). He scored on a one-out triple by junior designated hitter
Brandon Porter (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown), and junior centerfielder
Bobby Romano (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) singled home Porter with the tying run. Romano took third on a wild pitch and scored on a two-out single by Tenuto.
FDU-Florham tied the game in the fourth on a walk, a single, a wild pitch and a ground out before the Scarlet Raptors took the lead for good with two runs in the bottom of the frame. Freshman leftfielder

For the game, Tenuto went 3-for-5 with one run and two RBIs from the leadoff spot, while cleanup hitter Gonzalez was 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI. Both players had a double among their three hits.

Joe Sigismondi (Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional) and Hall both added two-hit games. Sigismondi also had five assists and one putout at shortstop.

Joe Hofmann (Colonia, NJ/Colonia) started and took the loss to even his record at 1-1. Hofmann allowed eight hits and five runs (three earned) in four innings, while walking one and striking out four.
