Camden, NJ - The Rutgers-Camden men's tennis team came up short today against Neumann University. The Knights beat the Scarlet Raptors 6-to-3.
The men's team won two doubles matches over the Knights.
Terry Long and
Putira (Pete) Siv won 8-5 in the first spot.
Zheng (Jason) Lin and
Jake Collette-Nippins lost 8-1 as the No. 2 duo. In the third spot,
Joseph Tyrrell and
Ryan Christopher won 8-4.
In singles action,
Terry Long lost 6-4, 1-6, 10-2 in the first spot. At the No. 2 spot,
Putira (Pete) Siv lost 6-2, 6-2.
Zheng (Jason) Lin lost 6-1, 6-1 in the third spot. In the fourth spot,
Joseph Tyrrell lost 6-2, 6-2.
Jake Collette-Nippins lost 6-1, 6-4 in the fifth spot. In the sixth spot,
Ryan Christopher won 6-4, 6-3.
Rutgers-Camden (1-1) will travel to Juniata College on Sunday, Mar. 22 at 4:00pm.
