Melanie Kaiser (Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) notched 26 digs and six aces as the Rutgers University-Camden volleyball team split a tri-match at Vassar College here Saturday.
The Scarlet Raptors swept John Jay College, 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-23), in their first match of the day before being swept by the host team, 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-11).
The split leaves Rutgers-Camden with an 11-10 record.
Homecoming week
The Scarlet Raptors host Rutgers-Newark Tuesday in a 7 p.m. New Jersey Athletic Conference match.

The Raptors notched 43 kills and 11 service aces against the Bloodhounds, with
Jamie Mulligan leading the way with 12 kills, sophomore
Myiah Gatling (Woolwich Township, NJ/Kingsway Regional) adding eight and both junior
Cortnee Wilkerson (Los Angeles, CA/West Adams Prep) and freshman
Jordan Erskine (Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat) adding seven apiece. Erskine also added two blocks (one solo, one assisted).
Kaiser had six of the team's service aces, while adding 13 digs. Marcano collected 18 assists and freshman
Meghan Gallagher (Sicklerville, NJ/Paul VI) added 14.

Morgan Mulligan (New Gretna, NJ/Pinelands Regional) added five kills and two service aces.
Vassar 3, Rutgers-Camden 0
The host Brewers received 12 kills from freshman
Jane McLeod (New York, NY/Dalton School) as they raised their record to 14-6.
Rutgers-Camden received seven kills apiece from Wilkerson and
Jamie Mulligan, while Marcano had 12 assists and the Raptors' lone service ace. Kaiser paced the team with 13 digs.
